This is a perfect tool to help you get through the early stages of quitting smoking. Listen to this meditation on the go or seated and focused. I made it fast and perfect for everyday listening. It points out all the good things you will no doubt be feeling since you quit. It helps to remind yourself of all the reasons why you are doing this, and how you aren't loosing anything, only gaining everything!

My name is Kori.

Let's meditate together.

For this meditation you can be on the go doing chores,

Listening with headphones on if you need to or you can sit.

Make sure that you're comfortable and put more focus and attention on the meditation so that you really feel like you're absorbing the energy and the words and the statements.

Either way whichever you're doing take a breath from me.

A nice big deep breath.

Breathe in through your nose or your mouth.

Breathe out through your nose or your mouth and do that a couple of times just to set an intention of clearing.

By taking in a couple of deep breaths in and out you're clearing your energy,

You're clearing your thoughts.

It's like wiping the blackboard clean.

That way you can really take in what you're about to listen to.

This is the consciousness of a non-smoker.

Just a reminder when someone asks me do you want a cigarette?

I say no I don't smoke.

Note to self I don't smoke.

I finally feel like I can breathe deeper and fuller.

I can tell that my blood is carrying more oxygen.

I heal faster and I definitely feel more energized.

My body literally feels lighter.

I am so happy and proud of myself.

When I move my body,

When I exercise it feels right.

I feel clean and that feels right.

Side note since I'm not a smoker I can finally be more productive with my time.

I work,

I play,

I close on projects with no need for a reward.

Just feeling good about myself helps me to achieve everything so much easier.

Having fun with it makes it flow easy.

It just makes it feel better.

That feels like the reward.

I'm actually enjoying my projects,

My responsibilities,

The things that I have to do.

Everything is flowing so much easier.

Remember this when you need to.

I have been so ready for the longest time for this.

The old me doesn't fit anymore.

I've been trying to squeeze the old me into my new self and my new desires and my new ambitions and dreams and hopes.

But I finally realized that the old me doesn't fit anymore.

I now know that I'm my own best friend and I know I don't need anyone or anything to comfort me other than myself and that feels really reassuring.

I can comfort myself,

Not an object or the words of another person or the actions of someone else.

I finally know that I can comfort myself.

Oh and by the way just in case I forget,

Remember that I am strong.

My strong mind can create what I think is my perfect body.

My strong mind can create the idea of what my perfect mind looks like and I'm really happy with the reality that I live in now.

Right now I am so much more happier.

I feel free.

I really do feel freer than I have in the longest time.

It feels so good to be free.

I don't feel like anything is calling at me or weighing me down or overriding my thoughts to get attention.

I feel free from all of that.

Nothing imprisons me like that anymore and I'm so proud of who I am.

I am so happy with my life,

This life.

Right now,

Today,

I'm so happy with this life.

I'm really excited about my future.

It makes me smile when I think about my plans and I know what's coming and I have this free,

Happy,

Healthy body that I'm living that in that makes me really excited for the future.

It makes me smile.

It makes me proud.

Excuse me,

Do you want a cigarette?

No thanks,

I don't smoke.

And so it is.
