Meditation is a gesture of love and kindness toward yourself,
A special little gift from you to you.
Permission to connect to a single moment in time and to love yourself just a little bit more than you did before.
So we begin here,
By closing down your eyes and settling in.
Connecting to the breath with a deep inhale,
And release as you let it all go.
Letting any thoughts or emotions just pass through you with the breath.
As you begin to find yourself releasing a little deeper still,
With every breath.
Your breath is always present,
So I welcome you to use it,
To anchor you here,
Into this present moment.
We are constantly cycling through our lives,
Scanning for where we fall short,
Seeing everything that we want,
But don't yet have,
And hyper-focusing on why it is we don't have it yet.
But here,
Here inside this practice we call meditation,
Within this moment,
We turn our focus into the calming presence of peace.
As thoughts enter your mind and interrupt your stillness,
You can begin to see that living only in this moment is an actual exercise.
So we re-ground here,
As you re-center your focus back to your breath,
Beginning to see and feel it as an anchor that holds your mind in place,
An invisible force that forever connects you to a place of presence and peace.
Take a deep slow inhale,
And pause for just a moment,
Feeling the way your lungs expand,
And steadily release the breath with a long exhale.
Repeating again slowly,
Inhaling as you hold the air again at its peak,
And exhale as you find your lungs empty.
Focus on the air entering,
Feeling the sensation of your chest and lungs expanding with your inward breath,
Allowing yourself to sink deeper and deeper with each passing exhale.
You are anchored deep in this moment,
And it is this anchor that holds you here.
You have time.
There is no need for the future or the past.
You aren't meant to be anywhere else.
You only need to be here.
We all fear making the wrong choice or doing the wrong thing,
Sometimes paralyzed by this fear.
But the messaging for you today is to learn that truly there are no wrong turns,
No bad decisions,
And no mistakes.
Every decision you make unlocks the gate for a new pathway,
A different perspective,
A new view.
Which means the only thing you ever really need to do to find peace is to choose courage over fear.
So I encourage you to trust the pathway that leads you to peace.
You deserve to align with abundance and ease.
You deserve goodness.
And you certainly are deserving of the peace you are searching for.
So I invite you to take a deep breath in here,
As you breathe in the golden positive energy that is always surrounding you.
Feeling the way the air flows into a grateful heart.
Feeling peace and energy flood into you as you breathe.
Begin to slowly bring your attention back into your body.
Welcoming any subtle movements of the fingers,
Toes,
And limbs.
And when you feel ready,
Open your eyes and come back into the space around you.
