As you start to relax,

Lying in your bed,

Looking up at the ceiling,

In your minds eye,

Visualise a shimmering swirling vortex opening up above you.

It looks like a whirlpool in the sky,

Made of a bright,

Glowing mist.

You feel a gentle tug and you start to rise slowly off your bed,

Lifted up by the vortex.

You feel weightless and peaceful,

As though you are floating in a calm sea.

As you float upwards,

You notice that the walls around you start to fade away,

And you are surrounded by the vast emptiness of space.

You can see the stars all around you,

Twinkling like diamonds in the dark sky,

The planets and galaxies are spread out before you in a magnificent display of cosmic wonder.

You feel your breath becoming slower and deeper,

As you gaze out at the vastness of space.

As you float higher and higher,

You notice that your body is becoming more and more relaxed.

Any tension or worries from the day are slowly fading away,

Leaving you in a state of complete tranquility.

Your mind is becoming calm and still,

Like a still pond on a calm day.

You feel yourself drifting away,

Lulled by the gentle motion of your ascent into space.

Your breathing is slowing down,

And your body feels weightless and free.

You are surrounded by the beauty and majesty of the cosmos,

And you are at peace.

You continue to float upwards,

Higher and higher,

Until you feel yourself drifting off to sleep.

You are still surrounded by the vastness of space,

But your consciousness is slowly fading away,

Leaving you in a state of deep,

Restful slumber.

In this state,

You are free from all worries and concerns,

And you are at one with the universe.

You are floating through the stars,

Carried by the gentle current of the cosmos.

Falling asleep in space is an experience like no other.

Imagine floating in a vast,

Dark expanse,

Surrounded by stars and galaxies,

Stretching out in every direction.

The weightlessness of zero gravity allows you to drift effortlessly through space,

Without the constraints of a bed,

Or the pull of gravity on your body.

As you close your eyes and let yourself drift off to sleep,

You may notice a sense of calmness washing over you.

Silence of space can almost be deafening,

But it's a soothing,

Gentle quiet that invites you to let go of any stress or tension that may have accumulated throughout the day.

You may also notice the absence of any ambient light,

Aside from the distant stars and galaxies that twinkle in the darkness.

The lack of artificial light and the quietness of space can be very calming,

Allowing you to let go of any distractions and focus solely on your own body and mind.

In zero gravity,

Your body is free to float and move in any direction,

Which can feel incredibly liberating.

You may feel a sense of weightlessness,

As if you're floating on a cloud,

Or drifting through water.

This can be a very relaxing and comforting sensation as it relieves any pressure or discomfort that may come from lying in a traditional bed.

As you fall deeper into sleep,

You may experience vivid dreams or thoughts.

The vastness and beauty of space can inspire a sense of wonder,

And your mind may conjure up images of soaring through the stars or exploring far off planets.

These dreams can be peaceful,

Reflecting the serene environment of space.

Despite the apparent danger and emptiness of space,

Falling asleep in this environment can actually be very calming.

As you float through the vastness of space,

You encounter a variety of planets,

Each with its own unique characteristics and beauty.

Take a moment to relax and observe,

As you explore the wonders of the solar system.

First you approach Mercury,

The smallest planet in our solar system.

It is a barren and rocky world,

Covered in craters and boulders,

The surface is blasted by the relentless solar winds,

Creating a hostile environment for any potential explorers.

Yet there is a sense of peace in the desolate landscape,

As if the emptiness and simplicity of the planet invite stillness and calmness.

Next you come across Venus,

The second planet from the sun.

Venus is often referred to as Earth's sister planet,

Due to its similar size and composition.

However,

Its atmosphere is thick,

With clouds of sulphuric acid,

Which create a yellow haze that obscures the surface.

As you gaze upon this hazy world,

You feel a sense of mystery and intrigue,

As if the shrouded landscape holds secrets waiting to be discovered.

Continuing on your journey,

You arrive at Earth,

Our own familiar home planet.

The blue and green globe of Earth is a stunning sight from space,

With its swirling oceans,

Green forests and white clouds.

As you look upon the beauty of our world,

You feel a sense of awe and gratitude for the privilege of living on this precious planet.

As you reach Mars,

The fourth planet from the sun,

Known as the red planet,

Mars is a desert world,

With a rusty,

Dusty surface.

Yet,

There is a stark and rugged beauty in the Martian landscape,

With its towering volcanoes,

Deep canyons and windswept dunes.

As you drift over the Martian surface,

You feel a sense of peacefulness,

As if the barren yet magnificent landscape holds secrets yet to be uncovered.

As you continue on your journey,

You approach Jupiter,

The largest planet in our solar system.

Jupiter is a gas giant,

With a swirling atmosphere of colourful bands and belts.

The great red spot,

A massive storm that has raged for centuries,

Is visible on the surface.

Despite the tumultuous nature of Jupiter's atmosphere,

There is a sense of serenity in the vastness of the planet,

As if the sheer size and power of Jupiter create a sense of stillness.

Next,

You come across Saturn,

The second gas giant in our solar system.

Saturn is famous for its stunning rings,

Which are made up of ice and rock particles.

The planet itself is a yellowish colour,

With a hazy atmosphere that gives it a dreamlike quality.

As you float through the rings of Saturn,

You feel a sense of enchantment,

As if the beauty of the planet has a hypnotic and relaxing effect on your mind.

Continuing on your journey,

You arrive at Uranus,

The seventh planet from the sun.

Uranus is an ice giant,

With a pale blue colour and a tilted axis that creates extreme seasons on a planet.

The atmosphere is mostly composed of hydrogen and helium.

With traces of methane that give the planet a blue green tint.

As you observe the tranquil and icy landscape of Uranus,

You feel a sense of calmness,

As if the peacefulness of the planet creates a relaxing and rejuvenating effect.

Finally,

You come to Neptune,

The eighth and final planet in our solar system.

Neptune is another ice giant,

With a deep blue colour and a windy atmosphere that creates massive storms.

A great dark spot,

A storm similar to Jupiter's great red spot is visible on the surface.

Despite the turbulent nature of Neptune's atmosphere,

You feel present as an observer of perhaps the chaos around you.

Being weightless and experiencing the silence of space is a unique and surreal experience that can bring a sense of peace.

Just as the vastness of space can be overwhelming,

So too can the constant chatter and noise of thoughts and surroundings.

As you continue to float in the silence of space,

With no sound to disturb the tranquility,

It's as if your mind has been freed from the endless stream of thoughts.

Your body is free from the weight and tension of gravity,

Allowing for a sense of relaxation.

The absence of sound in space can be compared to the practice of mindfulness,

Where the goal is to quiet the mind and focus on the present moment,

In the same way that the silence of space allows for a sense of peacefulness.

The practice of mindfulness can help to quiet the chatter of the mind and bring clarity to the forefront.

In space,

The mind and body are free to float and drift,

All you have to do is observe how your thoughts and feelings come and go.

Do this without judgement or attachment,

Both your mind and body feel lighter from the absence of gravity,

Your mind becomes still and your body ever so relaxed.

As you gently float back down to your body,

Back down to earth,

You may begin to feel the effects of gravity once again.

The weightlessness and freedom of space may be replaced with a feeling of heaviness and grounding.

As your body reconnects with the earth's pull,

As you settle back into your physical body,

You may notice a sense of drowsiness and fatigue setting in.

This feeling of heaviness is a deep relaxation.

Just as the weightlessness of space allowed for a release of physical tension,

The feeling of gravity pulling you back down can serve as a reminder to let go of mental and emotional tension too.

As you allow yourself to sink into your bed and fall asleep tonight,

You may find that your thoughts and worries begin to fade,

Leaving you feeling calm and very,

Very relaxed.

The sensation of gravity can be felt in every part of your body,

From the soles of your feet to the crown of your head.

You may feel a heaviness in your limbs and a sense of grounding in your core.

This feeling of being firmly rooted to the ground can be comforting.

As you continue to feel the pull of gravity,

You may find that your body begins to relax even further.

Your muscles may feel heavy and loose,

And your breathing may become slow and deep.

This sensation can be compared to the feeling of sinking into a soft,

Comfortable bed after a very long day.

As you allow yourself to sink deeper into relaxation,

You may find that your mind begins to wander.

Thoughts may come and go,

But you can observe them without judgement or attachment,

Like watching clouds drift across the sky.

As you observe your thoughts,

You may notice that they begin to slow down and become less frequent.

This can be a sign that you are entering a state of deep relaxation,

Where the mind and body are fully at ease.

As the earth pulls you down,

You release any negative thoughts or emotions,

And allow them to be absorbed into the ground beneath you,

Continuing to relax.

You may find that your eyelids become heavy,

And your mind begins to drift off into sleep.

This sensation of drifting off can be compared to the feeling of floating through space,

Where your body and mind are weightless and free.

As you drift off into sleep,

You may find that your dreams are peaceful and soothing.

The sensation of gravity continues to anchor you in the present moment,

Allowing you to feel safe and secure.

As you rest in this state of deep relaxation,

You may feel a sense of gratitude for the opportunity to experience this deep level of relaxation.

Starting at the top of your head,

You can focus your attention on your scalp,

Forehead and temples.

Imagine the sensation of a gentle breeze blowing across your forehead,

Cooling and soothing the skin.

Allow any tension or tightness to release,

Like a rocket launching into space,

Leaving your body feeling light and free.

Moving down to your face,

Imagine the sensation of a soft,

Warm blanket covering your face,

Comforting and calming.

Relax your jaw,

Allowing it to release any tension or clenching.

Imagine the tension dissipating like a cloud of stardust,

Leaving your face feeling soft and relaxed.

Continuing down to your neck and shoulders,

Imagine the sensation of a gentle massage,

Easing any tightness or discomfort.

Imagine the tension melting away,

Like a comet burning up in the atmosphere,

Leaving your shoulders and neck relaxed and free.

Moving down to your arms and hands,

Imagine the sensation of floating in space,

Weightless and free.

Allow your arms and hands to become limp and relaxed,

Like the strings of a marionette that have been cut,

Allowing them to freely float.

As you focus your attention on your chest and torso,

Imagine the sensation of a soothing wave washing over you.

Feeling the wave carrying away any negative thoughts or emotions,

Leaving you feeling calm and at peace.

Moving down to your hips and legs,

Imagine the sensation of a warm,

Comforting embrace,

Holding you close and supporting you,

Releasing any tension or tightness.

Relaxing your legs and hips to become heavy and relaxed,

Finally,

Focus your attention on your feet,

Imagining the sensation of soft,

Plush pillows cushioning your feet.

Relaxing and soothing them,

Imagine your feet sinking deeper and deeper into the pillows.

Feeling grounded and supported,

You may now notice a sense of calmness spreading throughout your entire body.

You feel present,

More aware of your physical sensations and more connected to your body.

You release any tension in your mind and allow it to float away.

You are calm and serene like the quietness of space.

You let go of any stress and tension in your neck.

You are supported and secure like a satellite in orbit.

You allow your arms to feel weightless and free.

You are filled with peace and tranquility,

Like the quiet stillness of space.

You are grounded and stable,

Like a planet orbiting the sun.

You allow your hips to be stable and balanced,

Releasing all tension.

You are weightless and free,

Like an astronaut in space.

You are asleep.

As you gaze up at the night sky,

You are reminded of the mesmerizing beauty of the stars and planets,

Just like the celestial bodies that gracefully dance across the heavens.

Our minds,

Too,

Seek harmony and balance.

Be cradled by the infinite tranquility of the universe,

And in your dreams,

Find solace.

Imagine yourself as a stardust traveller,

Drifting effortlessly through the cosmic sea of relaxation.

You surrender to the weightlessness of sleep,

Allowing your mind and body to float in a state of absolute calmness.

The silence of the cosmos envelops you,

Guiding you to a place where worries dissipate and fears fade away.

In the boundless expanse of space,

You find parallels to the act of sleep.

Just as the stars align and the planets find their orbits,

So too do your thoughts align,

Creating a peaceful environment for rest.

You release all tensions into the endless abyss,

Inviting deep relaxation to wash over you like a gentle cosmic breeze.

The moon,

With its soft glow,

Becomes your guide,

Whispering sweet dreams into your slumbering mind.

You become weightless,

Transcending the boundaries of the earthly realm.

As your consciousness journeys through the cosmic abyss,

It is in a safe place where it embraces the calmness of sleep.

The stillness of the universe settles within you,

Urging your mind to let go of the day's chaos and surrender to the tranquility that awaits.

Each breath that you take connects you with the peaceful rhythm of the cosmos,

Allowing you to synchronise your inner self.

Just as your body aligns,

Your thoughts and intentions flow with the peacefulness of the universe.

You release all worries and anxieties,

Trusting in the cosmic symphony to guide you into a deep,

Deep sleep.

In the silence of the night sky,

You find refuge from the noises of the world.

It is here that the parallel between space and sleep becomes evident,

Both offer an escape,

A sanctuary from the chaos of your daily life.

You can find respite in the stillness and allow every muscle to contract.

As you surrender to the cosmic embrace,

You discover the profound connection between space and the state of deep calmness.

The vastness of the universe reflects the infinite potential within yourself,

It reminds you that you are part of something greater,

Something magnificent,

And in the silence and tranquility of sleep,

You tap into that vastness,

Finding solace and peace.

As you close your eyes,

You drift into a serene cosmic slumber,

Your mind enters a peaceful orbit,

Embracing tranquility.

The vastness of the universe lulls you into a deep and restful sleep,

Each breath you take connects you with the peacefulness of the stars.

You surrender to the gentle rhythm of the celestial symphony,

Which soothes your soul.

Sleep comes effortlessly as you surrender to the weightlessness of relaxation,

You release all worries into the cosmos,

Allowing your mind to find serenity.

Like a shooting star,

Your mind streaks through peaceful dreams,

You are cradled in the arms of the universe,

Feeling safe and protected.

The gentle glow of distant galaxies eases you into sleep,

You release tension with each exhalation.

The moons gentle light whispers sweet dreams into your slumbering mind,

The peacefulness of space calms your mind and body.

You surrender to the gravity of sleep,

Descending into a peaceful abyss,

The twinkling stars guide you to a restful sleep.

You are at one with the universe,

Finding solace in its vastness,

The cosmic energy that nourishes your soul,

Preparing you for a deep,

Deep sleep.

You are a stardust traveller,

Drifting into a tranquil sleep journey,

You are carried away on a peaceful comet,

Travelling to dreamworld,

The constellations dance across the sky,

Inviting you to sleep in harmony,

The vastness of space wraps you in a soothing embrace.

Each star that you see is a reminder to let go and surrender to sleep,

The gentle ebb and flow of the universe lulls you to sleep,

The cosmic silence cradles you,

Inviting profound relaxation.

You drift amongst the stars,

Embraced by this soothing tranquility of space,

The weightlessness of sleep carries you to a place of deep rest.

You are part of the cosmic rhythm,

Finding harmony in sleep,

You release all thoughts into the infinite expanse of the cosmos,

You surrender to the cosmic flow,

Letting go and finding deep calmness,

You are asleep.
