There are subtle nature sounds mixed with soothing music in the background as I gently talk your emotions, concerns and thoughts down. You can use this meditation for relaxation or before sleep.

Transcript

Imagine in your mind now,

Sitting beside a small lake,

A quiet,

Hidden part of the countryside.

You are sat on a plush blanket beneath a weeping willow tree that dances to the warm breeze that blows every so often.

A scent of summer fills the air as you smell its sweet and earthy flavours.

Around the lake,

There are many trees,

There are silver birches and oak trees of many shapes and sizes.

The white noise sound of the leaves,

Invisibly moving,

Allows your mind to escape in this sanctuary of calmness.

Your skin is warm from the comfortable heat of the sun,

Which brings out the deepest colours of this magnificent place.

Every leaf,

Green as can be,

The browns of the trees,

Rich and dark.

The water has its own rhythm,

With its ripples that float across its surface.

In the middle of the lake is a very small island where ducks and Canadian geese find safety,

Looking out and upon their treasured home.

Your mind drifting with the quietness of nature and your own appreciative company.

You close your eyes to take in the atmosphere of everything around,

Allowing your mind to search for the peacefulness in this special space.

It could be in the sound of the leaves in the trees,

The slight and subtle lapping of the water,

Or something else.

Take a moment to listen for your soothing sound.

Now,

As you observe using only your senses,

Allow yourself to consciously relax a little further.

Perhaps take in a slow deep breath,

If you so wish,

Of the clean air that surrounds you,

Or feel the warming sun on your face.

As you take notice and become aware of the things around,

Allow all the sights,

Sounds,

Touch and feelings of this place to become one.

Sitting with so much beauty in this moment,

The sounds all merge into one calming whisper of calmness,

Like the softest voice you have ever heard.

The notes of every scent are all rolled into one,

Producing the most soothing flavour which is the sound of the water.

The touch of the warm summer's heat and the breeze brings self love and a gratifying reassurance that melts away any concerns you may have at this time.

With your eyes you see a symphony of colours all mixed in together to create a glowing aura of confidence and safety.

As you breathe more calmly and transcend down deeper into a positively euphoric state,

Just observe everything you experience with your mind.

If there are any thoughts or concerns in this moment that linger,

It's ok,

You can acknowledge them and allow them to pass without judgement.

A profound state of being present is felt as you concentrate only on this lakeside scene.

You allow yourself to go even deeper into calmness.

Imagine now that all the things you sense are integrating again into one.

Mind rolls into sight,

Sight glows into touch and touch is caressed into feeling,

All felt as one.

Inside your mind,

Everything is calm,

Everything is relaxed.

Positive vibrations relax even the most stubborn of muscles,

The sound you hear is hypnotic and the glow of your own aura is strengthening.

Allow this peacefulness to take over any overthinking,

Stress or concerns you may have.

Your mind is reassured and your body becomes softer with relief.

As your concerns evaporate and are replaced with the sense of only being,

You are now going even deeper into this present moment.

Your mind calm in stillness and your body relaxed as can be.

You now feel no blanket that you sit upon,

Perhaps you have a sensation of floating or maybe nothing.

You hear no sound,

The once beautiful symphony of nature fades out as you enter and become the sound,

You hear nothing else but a soft pulse of your own energy.

You now smell no scent,

You are the scent,

As you feel your own energy grow inside,

Perhaps sensing a tingling of strength and modest confidence.

You see no beautiful landscape,

You are the landscape,

You are the trees,

The leaves,

The water and the earth.

All the beauty is now in one place,

Realising this maybe softens your face a little more as you feel at peace.

Your natural intuition is to delve deeper into this mind state,

To allow this to happen,

Your mind enquires no more.

Thinking and asking no more,

There is no past or future,

Only this present moment.

There are no concerns as you experience a deep self love,

Now feeling lighter not only in mood but temperament.

Letting your mind to drift,

Float now amongst all there is,

All of which is in this moment.

You are now present in every way,

Now as you come back,

Take in the energy of the air with a slow deep breath and relax your shoulders on your exhalation.

Feel the wisdom you attained throughout your experiences,

Sense the things that brought you joy.

Let your own strength grow inside as every second passes and mindfully find gratitude in the self love you have for yourself.

Take a few moments to consume in all these things,

Being peaceful as you adjust to this soothing mind state.

When you are ready,

You may open your eyes,

Feeling satisfyingly calm,

Deeply relaxed and in tune with everything you are.

There you go.
