Christiane Wolf, MD, PhD, is a physician turned Mindfulness and Buddhist teacher. She bridges her traditional Buddhist teacher training in the Western Vipassana tradition, mainly through Trudy Goodman and Jack Kornfield, and the secular mindfulness world. She's an MBSR - (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) teacher trainer and certified in MSC (Mindful Self-Compassion). Being a non-native English speaker herself, she is acutely aware of the importance and challenge of meaningful and appropriate translation and sees herself as a translator of the ancient wisdom teachings into clear, kind, and compassionate language, within clinical settings and in the wider community. Christiane teaches in Los Angeles at InsightLA, where she is a senior teacher, at Spirit Rock Meditation Center, Insight Meditation Society, and also in Europe. She is the author of "Mindfulness and Self-Compassion for Chronic Pain" and the co-author of “A Clinician’s Guide to Teaching Mindfulness”.

Amazing practice, so helpful. Would definitely recommend especially if you’re struggling with sitting in silence on your own. I think it gives you a compassionate way of dealing with your thoughts. Will add to play list to repeat. Thank you 🙏
