If it feels comfortable,
Place one hand on your heart,
And let the other hand rest wherever your body prefers.
Begin by breathing in through your nose for 4,
1,
2,
3,
4,
And out of your nose or mouth for 4,
1,
2,
3,
4.
Again,
Inhaling,
And exhaling for 4.
Let this rhythm do the work.
Grounding isn't about slowing down.
It's about stabilizing your body so you can move forward with clarity.
Keep the breath going and gently notice.
Inhale,
I am here.
Exhale,
I am held.
Inhale,
I am here.
Exhale,

Nothing to force,
Nothing to fix.
If your mind wandered at all,
That's okay.
Just come back to the slow,
Easy breathing and count.
