Give yourself this pause.

Not because we parent perfectly,

None of us do,

But because softening your edges makes everything clearer,

Steadier,

And more loving.

Let's try this 60 second experiment together.

Inhale for five.

Exhale for five.

Inhale.

I love them so deeply.

Exhale.

I don't have to carry everything alone.

Inhale.

They are held by more than just me.

Exhale.

Support exists beyond what I can see.

Inhale.

I release the fear stories.

Exhale.

I return to the moment.

Inhale.

I can guide without gripping.

Exhale.

I can care without collapsing.

Inhale.

They're becoming who they're meant to be.

Exhale.

And I'm allowed to breathe too.

We never parent perfectly.

We just parent more softly,

More clearly,

When our nervous system isn't caring the entire world.

You are doing enough.

This breath is enough.
