There was wonderful food and music and laughter and everybody was so,
So nice.
Then all of a sudden,
The sky darkened just a little bit more and a single golden light began to streak downward.
It was ready.
The rare star was falling.
It was enormous.
Glowing with a thousand shades of golden amber,
Its surface swirling with sparkling wishes waiting to be planted.
The light wasn't harsh or cold,
But warm and inviting.
As the star neared the orchard floor,
The star gatherers' dance became more beautiful.
