Welcome to the Ignite Your Creativity Meditation.

My name is Kaylyn and I'll be breathing with you today.

Get comfortable,

Straight back.

We're going to start with a few deep breaths in through the nose,

Out through the mouth,

Breathing into our belly.

Deep breath in,

Letting the intention to tap in to our creativity.

Deep breath out,

Releasing any judgment.

Deep breath in and out.

In,

Just breathe with me.

Creativity is our soul's expression.

It is a part of our being that showcases our true colors,

Our beautiful essence.

When we live in a creativeless space,

We simply cannot be free.

So today,

We breathe into our imaginative self.

We reach down deep,

And invite our true imagination outside to play.

Let's open the doors to our innovative side for just a moment,

And just see where it leads us.

Let's breathe into what's calling us.

Our artistic side is stirring.

Our creativity lies in our sacral chakra,

Living just below your navel.

So let's begin with a mental or physical sketch of a beautiful orange flower.

Breathing,

Imagining drawing the petals line by line,

Each line forming a beautiful blossom,

Pulled together at the center for a pop of potency.

The lines are organic and flowing,

Just like this creative orange center,

Just like you.

Let's breathe into this center and ask,

What is my soul calling me to draw?

Too sketch?

Too fine?

And as my imaginary pencil hits the paper,

It's fearful.

But here,

In this sacred space,

We do not judge,

As the lines swirl and the feelings release out onto the page.

Each line is filled with a creative spirit beyond what we know and what we think we are capable of.

Let's breathe into this imaginative swoop and swirl of this drawing.

The flowers blossoming on the page and our joy has ignited.

A flash of creativity has taken over and we dive in wholeheartedly,

Allowing our soul to finally sing.

Let's breathe into this feeling of openness,

This feeling of a judgment-free space to truly be us.

For the first time in too long,

We are free to create what we want without it making sense,

Without it needing to be something.

It just is.

Let's breathe into this beautiful place where we see that it was in us all along.

You see,

Creativity never dies.

It's our need for it that does.

We simply need to open that door and invite it in.

Let yourself play,

Dance,

Sing,

And create with reckless abandon.

Everything else can wait.

You are what's important now.

I invite you to ignite.

Let's breathe into this.

And as we close out this creative space,

Find three grounding breaths so we don't lose this imagination.

We carry it with us,

Today and all days.

Just play here for a while and ask yourself,

What is my soul calling me to do?

And wait for the whisper.

Those whispers lead you to the light.

Thank you for breathing with me today.

I'm Kaylyn,

And you can breathe with me anytime.

Find me at Breathe With Me,

Kaylyn Brie.

Be well.
