Good morning and welcome to your meditation practice.
I'm pleased you're here.
This meditation will help you to find some focus at the beginning of your day.
So for our practice this morning you can be seated or you can be lying down.
Make sure you find a comfortable position.
Settle in with a few rounds of deeper breath,
Allowing the inhalation breath and the exhalation breath to be smooth and even.
If it feels good,
Allow your eyes to close or you can maintain a soft gaze.
Feel that your breath can return back to its normal rhythm now,
Allowing the breath to relax you,
Anchoring you to the present moment and as best you can,
Focusing your attention on the air moving in,
The air moving out.
Inhaling,
Exhaling,
Body softening,
Mind becoming quieter.
As you focus on your breath,
Say to yourself,
I inhale and create a clear and focused mind.
I exhale and release all unfocused thoughts.
Repeat those statements of intent for a few rounds of breath.
I inhale and create a clear and focused mind.
I exhale and release all unfocused thoughts.
Allowing those words to sink into the deeper parts of your mind.
Noticing your body breathing.
As you feel that today you can create a sense of clarity of what you want to achieve and then you can focus and align your thoughts and energy towards that outcome.
Inhaling,
Creating a clear and focused mind.
Exhaling,
Releasing all unfocused thoughts.
Inhaling,
Creating a clear and focused mind.
Exhaling,
Releasing all unfocused thoughts.
Letting go of any visualizations now.
Awareness coming back into the room or the space that you're in.
Feeling clearer and more focused in your mind and your body now.
And take those qualities with you as you continue with your day.
