Welcome to this deep grounding and planetary gratitude meditation in honor of Earth Day.
This meditation is infused with Reiki healing energy so if you're open to receive that simply accept in your mind's eye.
Settle comfortably closing your eyes and take a long cleansing breath in and exhale fully.
Allow your body to melt into the support beneath you.
Noticing any tension or tightness and allowing it all to soften.
As you take this time to arrive at your center allow me a moment to connect.
Now imagine yourself standing barefoot on the earth.
The ground beneath you is warm,
Strong,
And filled with energy.
From the soles of your feet imagine roots expanding deep into the earth.
These roots anchor you,
Drawing in life force,
Vitality,
And grounding energy.
With each inhale draw the earth's energy upward into your body.
With each exhale release tension,
Stress,
And anything that is uncomfortable or no longer serves you.
Continuing this pattern of breathing in with energy and letting go on the exhale.
Now visualize a glowing sphere of green and gold light forming around your body.
This sphere connects you energetically to the earth,
To the trees,
The oceans,
The skies,
And all living beings.
Bring your awareness now to your heart.
Feeling gratitude for the planet,
The air,
Water,
Soil,
Plants,
Animals,
And all life.
Imagine sending waves of love and appreciation out into this world to all of these things.
Now focus on your energy body.
Feeling the earth's energy flowing through every cell.
Revitalizing and balancing your body,
Your mind,
And your spirit.
Any tension or fatigue is absorbed into the earth,
Transformed,
And returned as vitality.
Now imagine a gentle breeze of warm sunbeam carrying healing energy to every part of your body.
Allow this light to expand into every organ,
Every tissue,
Every cell,
And every thought.
Silently repeat,
I am one with the earth.
I honor and nurture life around me.
I receive the earth's healing energy,
And I give back love and care.
Take several slow,
Deep breaths,
Feeling the connection,
The grounding,
And renewal.
When you're ready,
Slowly bring awareness back to your body,
Recognizing your surroundings,
Your physical connection back to the earth.
Bring some light movement into your body,
And take a deep breath in,
And release,
And come back when you're ready.
You are nourished.
You are grounded.
You are aligned with the earth.
