Welcome!
I'm Candy Foster,
And I am an intuitive and a channel,
And I pull a card for The Collective each day.
Each month I choose a different deck,
And this month I've chosen the Yuletide Tarot from Christopher Hughes.
If you have not followed me yet,
Be sure to do so,
As you will get notifications every day when the daily reading is released,
Along with any other meditations,
Reiki sessions,
Etc.
,
That I have put out.
Thank you for joining,
And I hope you enjoy.
Today we have the Five of Gifts reversed.
Defeat,
Crisis,
Poverty.
At Yuletide,
The plight of those who have less is brought into startling light.
Gross overspending and indulgence often highlight how little someone else may have.
The plight of the poorer members of the community has always been a tenant of the goodwill associated with the Yuletide holidays,
With charities going that extra mile to tend to their needs.
This division between the haves and have-nots is glaringly evident during the holiday season.
This has another countenance where so many people fall into absence and sometimes overwhelming debt for the sake of a few days.
The Five of Gifts is a reminder to watch the and be mindful of what we spend and why we are spending it.
This is a difficult time of year for so many people who do not have the luxury of spending masses of money on gifts and delights.
The indulgence of the season can be a hurtful reminder of how little some people may have.
In addition,
Another aspect of this card focuses on the destructive forces of loneliness.
To be in community,
To have a network of friends and family around you,
As a buffer,
When we fall on harder times.
When that safety net is missing,
Loneliness may take its toll.
So we did pull the reversed meaning.
The worst has happened and you find a bend in the road ahead where the fortunes will start to turn for the better.
You have suffered long enough.
The wheel is moving.
A situation is coming into view that will change things around for you.
Hang in there.
I hope this message is helpful today.
Namaste.
