Hi and welcome!
This is a meditation for those moments where you feel homesick.
I think most of us have felt that feeling at some point in our lives.
This is where meditation is super powerful.
There is a place when we meditate where we can connect to the oneness,
Where we feel connected and supported and loved.
And that's exactly where I'm going to help guide you to today.
I'm going to ask you to create a safe space in your mind where you will always feel home away from home.
Let's begin.
Go ahead now,
Get comfortable and close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in,
Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth to start.
Let's do a few more like that.
Just exhaling away anything that feels heavy right now,
Letting it go.
One more deep breath in,
Really centering yourself here.
Let it all go.
In this practice you are supported.
Now just let the breath flow in and out of your nose.
Really just connecting to the rhythm and pace of your own breath,
Allowing whatever feelings that are here to be present.
Inviting in this beautiful healing light like the sunlight.
Just flowing down through the body from the top of your head and all the way down to the soles of your feet.
Calming and relaxing your entire body.
It's as if this healing light is wrapped all around you like a comfortable blanket,
So you can feel safe as you relax here now.
Go somewhere in your mind now that feels like home.
For some people it's in nature,
For other people it's another place that they've visited or been.
Whatever it is to you,
This is going to be this place of home within yourself that you will carry with you everywhere you go.
That you will carry with you everywhere you go.
Go there now.
Notice what you notice here.
Is it outside or inside somewhere?
What is the most important thing here for you?
How do you feel here?
What is surrounding you here?
You may have an image or a feeling or sounds.
Whatever it is to you is perfect.
When you go there in your mind,
You feel safe and supported and loved.
Sometimes nature can feel like that,
Like it's holding us.
Maybe you're alone here and that feels good.
Maybe there's someone here with you.
Invite whoever you want into this space.
Invite whoever you want into this space or be here alone held by this beautiful universal energy of the oneness.
Here we remember that we are all part of the oneness,
Never truly alone.
Let yourself feel part of that oneness.
Sometimes that can feel like an expansive feeling in the mind and body.
Like we are held by an energy that's bigger,
Way bigger than ourselves.
Feeling so grounded here.
Feeling so safe here.
It's like the oneness is reminding you.
No matter how you're feeling in this moment,
You are loved.
No matter how alone you may feel,
You are not alone.
You are part of the oneness.
You matter and your light matters.
The oneness energy reminding you that you are supported right now in this moment.
Can you notice that you are not alone in this moment?
Can you notice that feeling of home within yourself now?
Noticing how powerful it is to be able to create that in your mind.
So you can tap into this feeling and go to this place whenever you need to.
Whenever you want to feel at home,
Loved,
Safe and supported.
This energy that's wrapped all around you now,
This oneness energy,
Feels like a warm,
Comfortable blanket.
Maybe you feel so relaxed here you might want to take a nap.
Or just be in this meditation.
Letting thoughts just flow in and out of your mind.
Feeling safe and loved here.
Feeling home within.
Just be here in this loving energy.
Feeling safe.
I am safe and supported here.
I am loved and supported here.
Know that you can come back here to this safe,
Home-feeling space.
Within yourself at any time you want to be reminded that you are loved,
Supported,
Grounded and always enough.
You can stay here for as long as you like.
And when you're ready you can come back to this space you're in and take a deep breath in.
Sealing this practice and coming back and opening your eyes.
