Hello,
This meditation will be focused on courage.
Often times we allow fear to be nestled deep inside of us without speaking to it and rooting it out.
Today you are going to call it out and remind yourself that you are greater than fear.
Find comfort in your seat.
Allow your body to relax.
When you are ready,
I invite you to close your eyes.
Take a few slow breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Inhale and exhale.
Inhale and exhale.
Inhale and exhale.
One more time.
Inhale and exhale.
Allow your breath to return to normal.
Think of one thing you want to accomplish.
The one thing self-doubt has whispered you shouldn't.
The one thing that fear has shouted you can't.
Hold that thing in your mind.
I'll give you a moment to think about it.
Keep that one thing in mind.
Imagine all the resources you have to accomplish it.
Remember everything that you need is already inside of you.
Imagine a step you can take,
A small one,
To help you get there.
My favorite quote lately has been,
How do you eat an elephant?
One bite at a time.
Again,
How do you eat an elephant?
One bite at a time.
If you want to tell fear to kick rocks,
You have to be willing to take that first bite.
I'll give you a moment to think about that initial step.
Repeat after me.
Start louder in your head.
I am capable.
I am enough.
I have all I need.
Again,
I am capable.
I am enough.
I have all I need.
Take a long breath in,
Filling your belly like a big balloon.
Now slowly release it.
If you're able,
Reach your hands up above your head.
And now let them down by your side.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Thank you for taking a breath with me.
