Find a comfortable seat.
Ease the muscles in your face,
Your neck,
Shoulders,
And back.
Breathe easy.
In and out.
Follow your breath as it fills your lungs and as it leaves again.
That breath you just took is a gift.
Despite what you are going through in this moment,
Good,
Bad,
Or indifferent,
You have at least one thing to be thankful for.
And I challenge you to find one more.
As you open up to gratitude,
I assure you will find more things to be thankful for.
To every negative thing you can think or imagine,
There is likely a positive.
And give thanks for that.
Just that.
Because exercising your gratitude allows more things you are grateful for to appear.
Take another deep breath in.
And as you release slowly,
Take this moment to think of all the things you are grateful for.
You may be surprised that you need a moment more.
