This is a recording of Rick Hansen's Peace,
Contentment and Love Meditation from his Positive Neuroplasticity Training.
So we begin by coming into a sense of presence,
Relaxing into the body,
Feeling the body sitting or lying down,
Opening to and finding a sense of calm,
Relaxation and all rightness right now.
A feeling of being unthreatened,
Protected,
Strong and safe,
Not straining,
Not efforting,
Simply aligned,
Uncovering a sense of peace.
You can imagine abiding in our safe island of mindfulness,
Staying with the sense of peace,
Enriching it,
Absorbing it,
Sinking into it as it sinks in to you.
Now opening to,
Finding a sense of gratitude,
Gladness,
Enoughness in this moment,
A sense of fullness,
Not straining,
Not efforting,
Simply aligned,
Uncovering what's already there,
A sense of contentment,
Staying with the sense of contentment and happiness,
Enriching it and absorbing it,
Sinking into it as it sinks in to you.
And now opening to,
Finding a sense of connection,
A sense of inclusion with others,
Of friendship,
Camaraderie,
Being liked,
Cared about,
Appreciated,
Respected,
A sense of your own caring for others,
Your compassion,
Your kindness,
Knowing that you are connected in this worldwide web of love and kindness,
Compassion,
Call it interbeing,
Not straining,
Not efforting,
Simply aligned,
Uncovering a sense of loving and being loved,
A sense of being love,
Staying with the sense of love,
Enriching it and absorbing it,
Sinking into it as it sinks in to you.
Getting a sense of peace,
Contentment and love all present together in your mind and heart.
Perhaps a sense of coming home to your true home,
Your true home inside,
Resting in peace,
Contentment and love all present together.
Now please take this sense of peace,
Contentment and love into the rest of your day and into every day.
