This is Brenda Cary of Sacred Path Healing.
I offer this meditation as a healing journey to pull in peace and calm even amidst the chaos and fear of the unknown,
Especially when life may feel overwhelming,
When you feel pulled in so many different directions.
It's like you're a ping pong ball being bounced from one responsibility or one person to another and it just feels like too much.
So in this mindfulness practice we will focus on what we do want to draw or pull in to our whole selves and we begin to shift this energy from pulling outward away from ourself to drawing in and receiving and allowing in what our heart truly desires.
So let's begin by finding your comfortable position either seated or lying down and as you settle in I would like for you to be aware of the soles of your feet.
We're going to start drawing the energy from outward to pulling it down and connecting to Mother Earth.
This Earth energy that is safe,
That is our foundation,
That is a reminder of we can feel grounded.
So as you draw awareness to the soles of your feet maybe wiggle your toes or flex the feet and as you begin to breathe a little bit deeper I want you to imagine as if you were inhaling so deeply you are pulling this breath up from the Earth through the soles of your feet up into your legs and feeling the belly just fill up with space and then as you exhale whenever that arrives just softly allowing this energy to release down down down.
We're going to stay with this visualization and pattern for a few more breaths.
So again as you inhale you're drawing up this energy from the Earth.
Feel it pull up through the soles of your feet.
Feel your belly,
Your whole torso expand.
Feel the abundance and then a soft release as you exhale.
Continuing with this cycle of breath,
Feeling more calm,
More centered.
Now we will add in some of my favorite affirmations to help me to connect to this energy.
I would invite you to either say them to yourself or let these words wash over you.
So as you are inhaling and pulling up this energy from the Earth through the soles of your feet saying I pull in the support of Mother Earth and a soft release when you exhale.
Again pulling in this energy I pull in safety and trust.
Final pulling in of this energy as you inhale I know that this life is for my good.
Softly exhaling and releasing letting all the muscle tension soften and release.
We're going to continue with these deeper cycles of breath as we draw the breath up.
Visualize it coming up through the soles of the feet into the belly and up into the heart space this time and bring more awareness now to the center of your chest.
This energetic heart space and we are going to be again pulling in this energy into the heart.
Draw your awareness to your heart space.
Now I'd like you to bring your awareness to the palms of your hands and we're going to pull in this energy through the palms of your healing hands up your arms through the shoulders to the center of the heart.
So same pattern as you inhale pulling in this loving energy in through the palms all the way up the arms to the center of the heart.
And then when you are ready just a soft exhale to release any tension especially in the shoulders or the neck.
Oftentimes we can hold physical tension in the upper body from the mental tension from being pulled outward.
So again keeping with this breath cycle breathing in and pulling in this loving energy in through the palms of the hands up the arms to the energetic heart at the center of the chest and a soft release when you're ready.
Now we will add in some affirmations to begin to pull in what we do want.
So again I offer these affirmations you can say them to yourself or out loud or just allow them to wash over you as you continue to breathe deeply.
So as you inhale breathing in I pull in peace and joy.
Feel it at the center of your heart and then as you exhale soften and release any tension.
This time as you inhale I pull in compassion and love and softly exhale and release.
Finally as you inhale I pull in grace and ease and as you exhale softly release.
Continue with a couple more full and deep breaths.
If there are any other affirmations you wish to pull in say them to yourself.
Draw them into your heart space.
Now finally to complete this practice there is a cycle of reciprocity as we pull in what we do want.
We then exhale and release just like a ripple effect.
We feel nourished from a grounded and heart-led place to give out that which we have received for ourselves first.
So this time as you exhale either saying to yourself or letting these words wash over you I positively impact people with peace.
I positively impact people with compassion.
Final exhale saying I positively impact people with love.
Just envisioning for yourself this ripple effect.
You at the center giving from a place of healing and wholeness.
Feeling that peace,
Compassion,
Love,
And joy within you so that you extend it to others.
As we close this practice drawing one or both hands to your heart space a final sending out of gratitude.
Sending out gratefulness to every person you encounter today and pulling in gratitude for yourself,
For your true nature,
Who you really are.
