This is Brenda Cary of Sacred Path Healing and I'm a holistic healer and coach and join me in this short reset meditation for your body and mind that you can do at any time throughout your day to relieve stress and tension and to connect back to your highest self.
You could be seated in a chair or on the floor or you could choose to lie down.
You could also choose to stay standing with a little bit wider stance for more support.
And then you could have your eyes open but preferably not a focused gaze and especially not a focused gaze and especially not on a screen.
Allow your gaze to widen and soften and use your periphery.
If you would prefer you could close the eyelids down softly.
If you feel any tension around the eyes just blink them lightly a few times to release any muscle tension in the eyes or forehead.
Release any tension in the jaw and let the tongue drop down.
If you notice any tightness in the throat gently swallow and then draw awareness to the soles of your feet maybe even wiggle the toes as a reminder of your connection and support to mother earth.
And as you begin to feel more grounded place one hand on your solar plexus at the navel center.
This is your seat of empowerment and as you draw in deeper breaths notice how your deep breathing is allowing the nervous system to calm down.
On every exhale releasing any physical tension in the body.
And continuing to draw awareness now to the heart center you could place a hand at the center of the heart your seat of self-love and compassion.
Knowing as you move forward through this day you do so with love kindness and love.
And generosity to yourself and then to others.
And then I would invite you to allow these words to wash over you as you continue to deeply breathe and connect with your seat of empowerment at your navel center and your seat of self-love and compassion at the heart.
I release control and move forward in my day with ease and joy.
I release fear and worry and move forward into my day with light and love.
It has been my honor to guide you through this short reset practice.
Feel free to do it at any moment throughout your day when you need to come back to your highest self.
Final deep breath in big exhale out the mouth.
