Hi,
This is Veena.
Welcome to this guided meditation that will help us realign,
Recenter ourselves,
And come back into a state of inner balance.
It's fairly easy to get caught up in the highs and lows in our own day,
As well as with the commotion of all the events taking place in our outer world.
Sometimes we forget to do the simplest act of all,
Which is coming back to our breath,
Honoring the present moment,
Embracing the fact that we decided to show up for this moment,
To show up for ourselves,
And to show up for the world.
And we take the time to wash away our worries and fears,
The pollution of external noise,
The scattered echoes of a past that no longer exists,
And a distant future that has not yet arrived.
We come back to the present moment.
Coming back to the here and now allows us to acknowledge that there really is no greater,
More significant moment than the one before us in this very instant.
Knowing this,
We can continue to use our breath as a tool that guides us back to our center,
The place where we feel most energetically aligned within ourselves,
Grounded,
Balanced,
And at ease.
When we arrive back at our center,
We feel naturally calm and we move through our day with grace and fluidity.
There's a sense of flow and this easy ability to respond to different situations rather than react to them.
Our energetic bodies and physical body feel balanced and work in synchrony to make sure we are moving through our day by being harmoniously aligned with the in-breath and out-breath.
So just for today,
I invite you to silence the outer world for a few moments.
Gently close your eyes and start to shift your attention to your inner state by focusing on the breath.
Think of this as sacred space you have chosen to hold for yourself today.
Allow your shoulders to relax.
Unclench the jaw.
Release any tension that you may have around the eyebrows or mouth and gently start to shift your awareness into your inner state as you continue to breathe deeply.
As you inhale,
Breathe in through your nose and feel your chest rise.
As you exhale,
Slowly breathe out through your mouth,
Letting go of anything that might be worrying you in this moment.
Inhale again through the nose,
Feeling a wave of love and light wash over any worries or troubles.
And exhale out through the mouth,
Letting it all go.
Inhale again,
Feeling supported and protected in this moment as you allow yourself to arrive back to the center of your being,
The place where you feel most connected to yourself.
Exhale completely out through the mouth,
Letting go of any idea or belief that has been polluting your energy.
Feel the release of this extra weight you are carrying.
On the next inhale,
Start to envision a golden light entering the crown of your head,
Cleansing,
Purifying and washing away any extra weight that you do not need to carry at this time.
Continue to inhale in through the nose and exhale out through the mouth.
Feel this light expand as it enters the crown and pours in and around your body.
Inhale and then exhale completely.
Continue to breathe deeply while keeping with this light visualization that pours all the way down your spine and into the ground beneath you,
Keeping you rooted and centered.
Inhale deeply and feel the light wash away any worries,
Any residual pain or any emotional attachments that are no longer serving you.
Feel this light really cleansing away anything from the past that is no longer needed in this present moment.
And then exhale deeply to release it all out through the mouth and imagine that it is being transmuted into love and light.
Exhale again to feel the light pouring into any crevices or shadow aspects of yourself that may still need healing.
Feeling the warmth of the light as it touches each part of your body.
And then exhale to release completely out through the mouth.
If something comes up to be released that is not expected,
Just trust it.
Allow layers of false beliefs and old conditioned ways that no longer serve your journey to be shed so that you can come back to your center and invite in positive new beginnings.
Inhale to come back to your center,
Calling all of your energy back to you.
And then exhale to separate yourself from any outside noise or energy,
Letting go of anything that is not yours to carry.
Continue to inhale and exhale deeply for the next few minutes while still visualizing this beautiful light circling in and around you,
Cleansing you and even protecting you,
Shielding you away from any negative or low vibrational entities and allowing you to come back to your natural state of inner peace.
Allow whatever is coming up for you to just be.
Sit with it and observe.
Continuing to take a deep breath in through the nose and exhaling out through the mouth.
Keep breathing at your own pace with this light visualization and I will guide you back into your space in just a few moments.
Inhale to come back to your center.
Exhale to separate yourself from any outside noise or energy.
Exhale to separate yourself from any negative or low vibrational entities and allow your breath to come back to your center.
Exhale to separate yourself from any negative or low vibrational entities and allow your breath to come back to your center.
As you continue to breathe in and out,
Start to think of one thing or a person whom you are grateful for in your life.
Take a deep breath in,
Inhaling this golden light and feel into that sense of gratitude.
Maybe you feel surrounded by love and support or a general feeling of happiness.
Inhale and really take that in.
And on the exhale,
Send that golden light out,
Envisioning the people you love most being happy,
Healthy and radiant.
Inhale again to awaken to that sense of gratitude for all of your blessings no matter how big or small.
And then exhale out through the mouth to send that light and gratitude out into the world.
Inhale again to take your deepest breath yet,
Feeling your chest rise and belly become full.
And then exhale to release fully out through the mouth.
Slowly start to shift your awareness back into your space.
Taking gentle movement by slowly moving your neck side to side or taking a gentle rotation and wiggle your fingers and toes.
Take a deep breath on the inhale and exhale to gently flutter your eyes open.
Continue to take this awareness with you as you go about your day,
Trusting in yourself that all it takes is a few moments to come back to this beautiful and natural state of being centered and grounded within yourself.
Namaste.
