Fear is a natural part of life.
We do not need to fear fear.
It is our pathway to new possibilities.
It brings insight and shows us where we can create an opening to expand into.
Fear is designed to keep safe,
Safe within the bounds of what we know,
Where the rules are clear,
And even though it may be uncomfortable,
There aren't any real surprises.
On the other side of fear is what you do not yet know about yourself,
About your life,
About your potential.
Embracing this is a choice and it's one that you make when you are ready,
For moving to the other side of fear is embracing a new identity.
It is choosing change over safety.
You can only know if the fear is justified by looking it square in the face,
Exploring its origins and acknowledging its place in your life.
Fear is not weakness.
It is a compass that shows you your true north and you get to choose when you move towards it.
There is no rush.
There is no need to force it.
Move only when you are ready.
Begin by breathing yourself into stillness.
Draw air in through your nose.
Focus your attention on the sensations as it travels through your nose,
Down your throat and into your lungs.
Feel your lungs expand and feel your muscles move to welcome the air.
Pause and as you exhale,
Feel the tension flowing from you.
As you inhale again,
Flow the energy of your breath deep into your belly and down into your sacral area.
Feel your body expand to hold the air.
Pause and release tension with your exhale.
With each inhale,
Allow the breath to fill up more of your body until each breath connects with every part of you,
From the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
Continue to release tension as you exhale.
On your next inhale,
Place your hand upon your heart and come into stillness.
You are,
That is all.
You are present.
You are here.
You are in control and you are safe.
Invite your fear to step into the space of stillness you have created.
As it joins you,
Pay close attention to how you feel and where you feel it.
Where is your body holding your fear?
Bring a hand to the place and hold it in love.
How does the fear affect you?
Take on the role of observer.
Be curious.
Do not judge,
Just acknowledge.
Do you know its origins?
If not,
Ask.
A simple question is all that is needed to find the message that it is sharing with you.
Accept these insights.
Acknowledge your fear.
Thank it.
It's time to make a decision.
Do you wish to move beyond the limits of fear?
If your choice is to move,
Bring your awareness back to your breath.
As you inhale,
Expand your breath and spirit out around you.
Expand it until you can go no further.
This is the boundary of fear that holds you.
Call light to the boundary.
See a ring of light form around you.
See it dissolve the boundary,
Giving you freedom to move through.
Fear does not go away.
It is a constant companion.
There is no night and day transition between a world of fear and a world without it.
But we can choose to move beyond its limitations.
And those limits are now dissolved.
You have the choice to move to the other side,
Or to simply observe that the boundary is no more.
Whether you choose to move now or in the future,
At some point you will find yourself beyond the boundary of your current reality and beyond the bounds of your current fears.
Breathe in the freedom and the confidence of taking control and making your own choices.
Spend as long as you need in this energy.
And when you are ready,
Use your breath to reawaken your body and mind,
Gently breathing awareness into your cells and limbs.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes.
