Let's begin.
Step one,
Notice,
Just notice how you're feeling today.
Hold that question.
How am I doing?
And see what comes back.
And if you're feeling any tension in your face or your jaw or your neck,
Just take a breath and let it go now.
As we move to step two,
Breathe.
Just rest your attention gently on your breath,
Noticing the rhythm of your in and out breath,
The natural rise and fall of your chest and just tune to its rhythm.
It was doing this before you brought your attention here.
Let that make you smile.
And as you tune into your natural rhythm,
Your natural breathing,
Just begin to imagine that it's moving in and out through the center of your chest,
In and out of your heart.
And as that's happening,
The natural rhythm of your heart and the natural rhythm of your breath are connecting,
Joining up and creating a state of deep relaxation for you in the next few moments.
So just let yourself drop into that and breathe.
Beautiful.
Now we move to step three,
Activate.
You know,
Compliments are very powerful things.
They can stay with us for our whole lives,
Giving us courage and reassurance.
They're about being recognized and recognizing others.
And sometimes we assume that people just know that we admire things in them.
But really,
Everyone could do with being reminded now and again of what makes them wonderful.
Think about the greatest compliment you have ever received.
Call it to mind now and then just sit with it for a few moments and feel how it makes you feel.
And now think about the greatest compliment that you have ever given.
Imagine with that energy that you've connected to how it made the other person feel.
And perhaps it meant more to them than you could ever possibly know.
So maybe today you could tell just one person something that you think is wonderful about them,
Even if that person is yourself.
And as we move to step four,
Beam,
Smile.
That energy,
The energy that your remembered compliments gave to you.
See how it's still with you.
And let it wash through every cell.
Feel the glow of pleasure and intend for that to warm everyone who comes across your path today and to anchor today's practice.
Every time that a compliment comes to mind,
Say it to the person.
It doesn't have to be elaborate.
Even a warm and sincere thank you is a compliment.
