Hello and welcome.
Let's begin with our step one notice.
How do you feel today?
Just hold that question and see what comes.
How does it feel in your body?
If you feel tension anywhere,
Just let it go now.
Relax your face and smile.
Step two,
Breathe.
Just place your attention gently now on your breath.
Connect to the rise and fall of your chest.
Your natural rhythm.
And just allow yourself to be here.
Breathing.
And now imagine that your breath is moving in and out of your heart.
That the rhythm of your heart and the rhythm of your breath are meeting,
Joining,
Relaxing you.
And drop into that.
Step three,
Activate.
For today's activation I want you to consider your heart.
And as you listen,
Just relax and keep your heart in your focus.
Bring all of your attention to your chest.
And keep your heart in your mind's eye.
And as you do this,
Just notice the colors that appear in your mind when you do this.
Notice the sensations that you feel in your body.
And if you feel moved to place your hand on your chest,
Then do that.
And just take a few moments to connect to your physical heart.
This heart of yours started beating somewhere around five weeks after you were conceived.
And it has been doing so ever since.
Moment after moment,
Day after day,
Constant.
The soundtrack to your life.
And so today,
For the next few seconds,
I want you to just count the beats.
And after every beat,
Say thank you to your heart that keeps your body going.
Keeps your thoughts coming.
Allows you to live your remarkable life.
And let yourself fill with gratitude for this humble part of you that just keeps on keeping on.
So for a few moments,
Count the beats and the thank yous and feel your heart smile back.
Step four.
Beam.
You have the power within your own body to make a choice for a peaceful life.
To create a calm atmosphere around you for everybody's benefit.
Look around you wherever you are and wish the people that you see peace.
Hold that in your mind.
And if you're alone,
Wish the people who come to your mind now peace.
Every person that you interact with today,
Consider the power of their heart.
