Step 1: Prepare your space and settle in
Find a quiet space where you won’t be disturbed. Sit or lie down in a comfortable position.
Close your eyes and begin to focus on your breathing.
Take a deep breath in through your nose for a count of four. Hold it briefly, then exhale slowly for a count of eight. Repeat this breathing cycle three times to calm your mind and body.
