The meditations in this course will help you learn to calmly focus and concentrate your mind and bring your full awareness to something specific such as being more compassionate, more kind, or help in overcoming life’s difficulties. After learning a number of techniques, you will walk away ready to continue your practice using whichever method suits you best.

All You Do is Breathe

In our second lesson you will learn to focus on the external environment and the role of your senses to help bring you into the here and now.

Witness Your Thoughts

In our third lesson you will be trained to not just witness your thoughts, but actively detach from them. The aim of this lesson is to bring you inward and to increase focus and attention.

Lesson 4

Mind-Body Connection

This lesson explores the mind / body connection, encouraging you to focus on how it feels to be in your body. We’ll pay particular attention to areas of tension and tightness by walking you through a gentle body scan.

Lesson 5

Exploring Emotions

This lesson will teach you to name and identify the thought and feeling (physical sensations) attached to certain emotions. This can help us better understand the roots of our feelings and change our reactions.

Lesson 6

Power of Intention

This lesson encourages you to consciously cultivate a feeling or state you wish to experience with the use of intention setting.

Lesson 7

Finding Inner Stillness

At its core, meditation is about guiding us to a place of inner stillness. In our final lesson we will learn to use a mantra as a simple technique to transcend thought and guide you to a place of stillness within.

Her voice is very calming and soothing as she guides you through a different approach each of the seven days. Much more can be said, but you must experience it for yourself. It is suitable for beginners and and seasoned meditators alike. You won’t be disappointed. I’m repeating this course. I’ve just recently joined Insight Timer, and if this is a preview of the content, I’ll definitely be sticking around! Just wish I could find more of her meditations.
