Hello friend.
Welcome to this meditation on channeling your inner strength.
As you begin to settle in,
Choose a position that is comfortable for you,
And yet where you feel strong and supported.
Allow yourself to take a conscious,
Deep inhale and exhale.
There is a strength to allowing yourself to rest and relax.
So don't let the worries of the day before this moment or the list of to-dos after this moment stop you from feeling your inner strength.
Breathe in through your nose,
Compassion.
Breathe out insecurity and self-doubt.
If you haven't yet,
You may begin to close your eyes or hold a soft gaze.
Whatever helps you to best relax and to focus on the present moment.
Breathe in and out.
Are you facing an obstacle or challenge in your life right now?
Or maybe you can think of a past challenge.
How does this challenge make you feel?
Overwhelmed?
Afraid?
Vulnerable?
You might feel this in your body as scrunching of the eyebrows or clenching your jaw.
A tightness in your neck or throat.
Maybe your hands clench or your stomach tightens.
You are safe here to feel.
Breathe into that space.
And as you exhale,
Allow that body part or subtle body part or area to relax.
Exhale.
No matter the outcome of the past obstacle or the current obstacle,
Which may not have reached its conclusion yet,
Visualize yourself overcoming this challenge.
Summon the bravery,
Determination,
Compassion and confidence within you.
You may even be as creative as you can imagine with your problem-solving.
Trust your instincts.
Tame the inner beast of doubt and insecurity.
It's not always about using physical strength to overcome an obstacle.
Drawing from inner strength and guidance are of value as well.
You already hold an infinite wisdom within you.
We naturally think of strength as holding some kind of control.
But what if we were to let that control go just a little bit?
Let the creativity flow and allow things to unfold naturally.
Allow yourself to take a deep breath in and out.
Bravery is not the absence of fear.
It's being afraid and doing it anyway.
Now when you think back about that challenge or obstacle that is sticking out in your mind,
And you can see yourself overcoming that challenge,
How does that feel?
Empowering?
Courageous?
Maybe even proud?
You are strong my friend.
Stronger than you think.
You have made it through so many difficult moments throughout your life.
And you've come out on the other side.
Stronger than you were before.
Smarter.
More understanding.
With your next breath in,
Sweep your arms up and out.
Make yourself big.
And as you exhale,
Bring them down and wrap them around yourself,
Giving yourself a hug.
Say to yourself,
I am strong.
I am brave.
I am determined.
Breathe in to your nose,
Filling your belly.
Breathe out fully with a sigh.
Don't allow the inner beast of doubt and insecurity to be the one to take control.
Trust your instincts and your inner wisdom to guide you.
Allow yourself to pause and reflect on past moments of strength.
And allow those to empower you.
Allow your creativity to help you solve any problem that you may come across.
One more deep breath in.
And out.
Slowly return to your surroundings.
Let your eyes open if they were closed.
And notice how you are feeling now.
Have you released the tension in your brow,
Your jaw,
In your chest or your hands?
As you continue through your day,
Whether it be this challenge that you had in your mind or a new one that you may come across,
Repeat to yourself,
I am strong.
I am brave.
I am determined.
You can get through anything,
My friend.
Sending endless love and divine light.
