Hello loves and welcome to this full moon meditation.
So go ahead,
Find yourself in a super comfortable position.
Seated,
Laying,
Really your call,
Just honour what you need in this moment.
Take any little adjustments and really land in your space.
Take these first few moments to call back all your energy.
Calling all your energy back to you from all the places that you've been,
All the conversations that you've had.
Feel all your energy coming back to you here in this moment now.
Start to encourage a heaviness through your seat if you're seated or through your whole back body if you're laying.
A softening through the front body if you're laying and a softer lengthening through the spine if you're seated.
Start to notice the temperature of the air greeting your skin.
The touch of your clothing or any blankets that might be on you.
And then allow all the different sounds to make their way to your ears firstly in your space.
And then searching,
Noticing any sounds arriving at your ears from perhaps other rooms in your house or outside.
And then bring all of that awareness to the soft sound of your breath.
Noticing the soft sound of your breath as the breath moves into the body and the breath flows out.
And you feel the texture as the breath comes in through the nostrils now,
Hits the back of the throat and then expands into the torso.
And then the torso softens,
Breath hits the back of the throat and moves out through the nostrils.
So just follow this journey,
Nostrils,
Throat,
Torso.
Torso,
Throat,
Torso.
And out through the nostrils.
Let's switch that up a little now.
So as you breathe in,
Feel the breath coming in through the nostrils,
Hitting the back of the throat and then expanding into the heart.
And then the heart softens,
Breath hits the back of the throat and flows out through the nostrils.
Nostrils,
Back of the throat,
Heart,
And the heart,
Back of the throat,
Nostrils.
So if you're laying and when the breath comes into the heart,
You might feel your back body,
Back door of the heart,
Pressing into the support.
And if you're seated,
You'll notice this expansion both through the front of the heart and the back of the heart.
And stay with the breath as you feel a softening through all the muscles on your face.
A softening into the back teeth and unclenching of the jaw.
The shoulders release,
The pelvic floor softens.
Nostrils,
Back of the throat,
Heart.
Heart,
Back of the throat,
Nostrils.
Let's just take two more rounds of this.
Letting that go,
Finding a natural breath now.
I'm going to go on a little visualization.
So I'd like you to visualize yourself now sat by a beautiful pond.
You have a thought.
The earth beneath you.
It's a gorgeous summer's day and you're waiting for a miraculous event.
Only happens every hundred or so years.
You are there in the divine perfect timing.
Gazing out into the pond,
You see a single lotus flower ready to bloom.
The clouds part,
The sun shines onto this gorgeous bud ready to open.
You see the green outer leaves begin to peel open.
Luminous white petals starting to unfurl one by one.
What a magical sign.
You watch in awe as slowly this lotus begins to bloom.
Petal by petal opening tenderly,
The sun kissing its gorgeous fresh petals.
See yourself sat there taking in this marvel,
This divine marvel of nature.
You feel honored to have witnessed such a miraculous event.
Gazing out into the pond in such awe and reverence.
Finally,
The beautiful lotus is completely open.
A thousand petals glittering in the sunlight.
It's thick green stalk hovering above the pond.
It rose from the murky,
Deep,
Muddy waters,
And there it is shining so boldly,
So divinely.
Dragonflies hover around,
You can hear the birds chirping.
Nature continues on as this miraculous event unfolds.
Visualize yourself taking your hands together in Anjali Mudra prayer at the heart space.
You open your palms a little and start to feel a lotus unfurling between your palms.
Slowly opening,
You feel the petals touching your palms.
Lotus without,
Lotus within.
And come to realize that it's always been you.
This is how the universe is viewing you,
This miraculous event of growth,
Of magic,
Of learning,
Of shattering old beliefs,
Breaking through.
There you are,
This divine,
Miraculous,
Shining lotus.
It's always been you.
As within,
So without.
Take a few last breaths here.
See yourself perched out in nature,
The lotus in full bloom out in front,
And in full bloom right in front of the heart space.
From here,
Would you like to set an intention?
Perhaps an offering to the universe?
Something you would like to give back,
To share with others?
Perhaps your intention or your sankalpa is,
I am love,
Or I am abundance,
I am light.
Affirm it to yourself three times internally with meaning,
Like it is the truest fact.
And slowly arrive back in your space,
Feeling the support beneath you once again.
Taking your awareness below to the earth,
The earth always holding you,
Mama earth has got you always.
You feel the temperature of the air on your skin,
Notice all the sounds both near and far.
And take your awareness way up above,
Far the sky up above.
Gentle movement through your fingers and toes.
Acknowledging your efforts and energy in meeting presence,
In meeting yourself.
