This meditation we're focusing on what it is you really need.
So in saying that,
Land in a comfortable position.
There's no rules whether that should be seated or laying.
Just doing whatever feels right for you in this moment.
Ensure your comfort.
Perhaps set up your space as a ritual,
Lighting a candle,
Burning some Palo Santo,
And ensuring that you won't be disturbed for the next 15 minutes or so.
Once you've landed in your space,
Ready for this meditation,
I invite you to take a deeper breath in.
Really filling up,
Taking the deepest breath of the day so far,
Really filling up.
And a big cleansing breath out,
Letting it all go.
Let's do one more like that.
Deepest breath in,
Feel yourself breathing into your back body,
That expansion,
Your body filling up.
Notice how nice that feels to take in that fresh,
Nourishing breath.
And a complete cleansing release.
Let it all go.
Maybe make a sound.
And really landing in your body.
So take your awareness to your seat,
If you're seated,
To your back body if you're laying,
And just feel into the support beneath you.
Feel the different textures,
The temperature.
Can you notice the firmness as well as the softness?
As you start to sit a little heavier into your seat or melt a little deeper into your back body.
Notice your breath,
Your natural breath.
For a moment,
Pausing with your awareness on the nostrils,
Feeling the breath flow in and out of the nostrils.
With your next breath in,
Let's bring in some tension.
If you're laying tense through the whole body,
Squeezing all the muscles.
If you're seated,
Maybe it's just through the arms,
The face,
The glutes,
Whatever you can,
Tensing and holding.
And the breath out,
Release.
Let's do that twice more.
Tensing on the breath in,
Squeezing everything so tightly.
Squeeze through your core,
Your shoulder blades draw together.
Make balls with your fist,
Squeeze your toes,
Squeeze,
Squeeze,
And exhale to release.
One last one,
Squeezing on the breath in,
And releasing.
And just feel that sweet release through the body,
Maybe a bit of heat,
Some fresh blood moving through.
Some areas might be tingling.
And just scan your body now.
Are there any areas that you can soften a little further into?
Perhaps it's the shoulders,
The tummy,
Pelvic floor,
The forehead or the jaw,
Or any other areas that you might hold tightness or tension.
Encouraging this softening.
If you're seated,
There's lengthening up through the spine.
If you're laying,
There's an opening of the front body.
Meeting your breath,
Flowing in and out of the nostrils.
Can you let that be your true practice?
Just following the breath.
Feeling the tummy rise with the breath in,
And soften with the breath out.
Noticing as thoughts enter into your field,
Acknowledging them,
Letting them pass on through as you come back to the breath again and again.
As you continue to feel the breath moving in and out,
To feel the effects that it's having on the body,
I invite you to take your awareness to the flooring beneath you,
And then to the earth deep below that.
So can you visualize the deep,
Dark earth beneath you?
You have some gratitude for this land on which you live or on which you are practicing meditation.
And now from the soles of your feet,
Can you visualize energetic cords traveling down deep into the earth below?
So whatever color you see these cords is perfect.
See them traveling down through all the different layers of the earth,
Going deeper and deeper.
See these cords moving through the crystalline layers,
Going further and further down.
Eventually these energetic cords are meeting the core of the earth,
And they are wrapping around the earth's core.
So you feel this connection between the soles of your feet and the core of the earth.
And repeat internally,
I am grounded.
I am grounded.
Those cords are always with you always present,
Guide your awareness back up through the cords,
Up through all the different layers of the earth,
Through the crystals,
Coming up closer and closer towards your body,
And eventually landing at the soles of your feet.
Feeling your body,
This connection to the earth,
And then guiding your awareness to the crown of your head.
Just rest your awareness at the crown of your head for a few breaths,
And notice any sensations.
Now from the crown of the head,
Can you send energetic cords way,
Way up above?
So once again,
Whatever color you see these cords is divinely perfect.
See them traveling way,
Way up above,
Through the ceiling,
Way up into the sky,
Going higher and higher.
See these energetic cords traveling up through all the different layers of the atmosphere,
Going up higher and higher.
Eventually they're going to open up like a funnel,
Connecting to your truth,
Whatever that is for you.
Whether your truth is unconditional love,
Whether it's God,
Spirit,
The universe,
Connecting to your truth.
You feel this connection from the crown of your head,
Through these energetic cords,
Opening up to your truth like a funnel.
It's just funneling into your being,
And you repeat internally,
I am connected,
Am connected.
Guide your awareness back through those cords,
Although they are always there,
Always present,
And eventually land at the crown of your head,
And then feel your whole body,
Breathing in and out.
This connection to the earth,
This connection to your truth,
You in the middle,
This perfect,
Perfect creation.
Breathing in and breathing out.
I'd like you to take a quick scan of your body now,
And just see if there are any energetic cords,
Anything old that you're ready to release.
As you find them in your mind's eye,
You might imagine a crystal sword in your hand,
Cutting away that energetic attachment.
You see it fall away with ease,
The skin where it once was returns to its perfectly natural,
Healthy state.
It's like it was never there.
So take your time,
Go through them one at a time,
Cutting,
Seeing the healing,
And affirming.
I am releasing what no longer serves me.
Affirming it.
Your words,
Your intentions are so powerful.
Now,
If some of the areas where there is an attachment that you're ready to let go of,
If they feel like they need a little bit more love and care,
Feel free to pause this meditation,
And just feel into that area.
Ask what the learning,
The message is.
And then,
Often with acceptance,
It will be ready to be released.
Back to the breath.
Now,
Feeling yourself clear.
Clear and strong.
Breathing in,
Your whole body expands.
And breathing out,
Your whole body softens.
I'd like you to place an energetic,
Golden bubble all around you now.
Sparkly,
Golden,
It's like fairy dust,
All around your body.
Protecting you,
Keeping you safe in your own energy,
In your truth,
Connected to Earth.
And just repeating,
I am protected.
I am protected.
And you breathe.
You notice how your body feels.
Softening any areas where some holding or tension may have crept in,
As the breath flows.
Now,
As you continue to breathe,
Just absorb my words.
There is no such thing as perfection.
You are divinely perfect in all of your imperfection.
That is what makes you unique.
That is what makes you,
You.
You are doing so well.
You are stronger than you know.
You are so much more powerful than you know.
You are a beam of light,
Sharing your light.
You are an inspiration for others.
You are magic.
Absorb those words,
Let them move through your body,
Through your field,
And notice how your body feels.
As you continue to breathe,
Just feel into the support beneath you once again,
The texture,
The temperature,
And start to notice any sounds in your space.
Perhaps the soft sound of your breath.
Feel those energetic cords connecting you to the core of the Earth.
Those energetic cords opening up to your truth that just flows through you,
Free of the old and so protected in your field.
You are divine.
You are magic.
