This is a meditation for anchoring into safety,

A moment to come home to yourself,

To soften the edges of your day and remember the calm that lives within you.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.

Allow yourself to arrive right here,

Right now.

Feel the weight of your body being held by the ground beneath you.

Notice how it supports you effortlessly.

With each breath,

Begin to soften the places inside that have been on alert.

Let your shoulders melt,

Your jaw unclench,

Your belly loosen.

There is nothing you need to do,

Just breathe.

Now imagine a soft golden light glowing at the center of your chest.

With every inhale,

This light grows warmer,

Steadier.

With every exhale,

It expands,

Filling your body with a sense of calm.

This light is your sanctuary,

A space within you that always remembers peace,

That always knows how to come home.

If your mind begins to wander,

Simply return to the rhythm of your breath.

Inhaling safety,

Exhaling release.

Inhaling trust,

Exhaling tension.

Repeat quietly to yourself,

I am safe to be here,

I am held,

I am home within myself.

Take one final deep breath in,

And a slow exhale out.

Carry this sense of sanctuary within you,

A gentle reminder that safety is not something you must find,

But something you can return to,

Again and again,

Within your own being.
