Welcome to this guided meditation on connecting with butterfly guides.
My name is Joy Brown and I will be guiding you in today's meditation.
To begin,
Take a seat or lay down,
Get comfortable,
Then close your eyes.
To calm our body and mind,
Take a deep breath in,
Hold for three seconds at the top,
Then exhale out in a large sigh.
Continue taking these deep breaths.
Let your breathing return to normal now.
Picture yourself as a small child running through a field with a net to catch butterflies.
There's flowers,
The sun is shining,
You have no cares in the world.
You're just enjoying this sunny afternoon.
A giant butterfly flies over the horizon coming towards you.
As it gets closer,
It becomes smaller until it is right before you.
This is your butterfly guide.
Ask it anything you want and listen and wait for it to answer.
If your butterfly isn't on your body,
Ask it to come to you.
Let it land anywhere it wants.
You and your butterfly guide now merge into one.
Give gratitude for all that has happened here.
Bring your awareness back to your body.
Slowly begin to move and open your eyes.
