
Vulnerability And Emotional Self-Intimacy

This guided meditation is a mindfulness-based embodiment practice involving some intuitive movement. Through awareness of the breath and body, this practice is intended to support you in gently reconnecting to your vulnerability, safely navigating your emotions, and patiently cultivating self-trust and emotional intimacy with yourself. It is based on the idea that emotions are energy that is constantly moving through us and that manifests in the body as a sensation or a cluster of physical sensations coupled with a thought, belief, or narrative about ourselves, others, and/or the world. It is helpful to see each emotion as carrying the gift of our personal truth - one more piece to the puzzle of our integrity. When we begin to listen to our emotions we may not only know ourselves more deeply but also authentically share who we are with others.
