Inspired by Thich Nhat Hanh who created this mantra meditation of word coupling. Drop the analysis and drop into being by repeating the mantras of presence, calm, and connection. You will soon immerse yourself into stillness as you rest in the resonance of the mantra.

Transcript

Welcome to the word coupling meditation.

Finding a comfortable seat and settling your body with your feet on the floor.

Increasing the length of your spine.

Allowing the crown of the head towards the sky.

And if it feels comfortable,

Either closing your eyes or lowering your gaze.

.

In rhythm with your own breath,

Say the mantra present and moment.

Present on your inhale breath and moment on your exhale breath.

Until I ring the bell.

.

.

Now let go of doing the mantra and feel into the mantra.

Be the mantra until I ring the bell.

.

.

And again in rhythm with your own breath,

Say these words silently to yourself in your mind.

Repeating the mantra in and out.

In on the inhale breath and out on the exhale breath.

Until I ring the bell.
