Grounding For Stress | 7-Minutes
Do you ever feel a little flat, shut down, or disconnected from the world around you? This 8-min grounding exercise helps calm the nervous system by gently training your attention to notice small moments of beauty, comfort, and safety around you. You can do this sitting, standing, or lying down, with your eyes open, and even practice quietly while around other people. As you do this, you may notice your mind become quieter, your body settled, and a softer sense of connection to the present moment begin to emerge. Use this during stressful workdays, after too much screen time, during emotional overwhelm, or anytime you need a small nervous system reset. Practice this daily to help your mind more naturally notice moments of beauty, safety, and calm throughout your everyday life.
