In this short guided meditation,
I'm going to invite you to play around with your energy and your sense of presence.
Just taking a few moments out of your day to connect with yourself and to align with your soul.
Closing your eyes wherever you are,
Sitting or standing,
Laying down,
It's all fine.
Take a couple deep cleansing breaths just to help your attention settle inside your body.
Breathing deep into the lungs and slowly exhaling out your mouth.
And one more time,
Breathing in deeply and slowly exhaling out your mouth and just letting the breath return to its natural rhythm and just noticing what's there without any judgment,
If you can.
Noticing a sort of internal scan of your body,
Noticing any sensations that might be drawing your attention and notice any judgments that might come with that,
Good or bad,
Painful,
Unpleasant,
And just see if you can let that go and just let whatever sensations are there just be as they are and noting also any mood or emotional energies that might be there and just being curious,
Interested,
Allowing whatever energies are there to just be without any story about how they should be,
How they should stay or go.
It's all fine.
And noticing thoughts of the mind,
Whether images,
Words,
Or what might be like a voice in the mind,
Just noting the mind and not needing to judge it or create a story about the thoughts that are there.
So just seeing if you can be a little more open and present with what is in your experience right now.
And already you might notice a softening,
A slight shift,
Just through giving yourself permission to be of those inner energies,
That inner weather system to not be fought with or resisted in any way.
That can already bring a softening and an opening.
And in this last moment of the short practice,
If you'd like,
You might experiment with inviting in a little more loving energy and connecting with your deeper soul.
So as you're breathing in,
Just breathing in love,
Breathing energy of love and compassion,
Acceptance and light.
You might even imagine this energy with some colored hue that feels warm and inviting to you.
And as you breathe out,
Sensing yourself breathe out any toxicity,
Any energy that doesn't serve your soul,
That feels part of the conditioned mind,
That feels not of your own heart,
Perhaps planted through others and their wounds,
And just breathing that out right now.
Breathing in light,
Clear and loving energy,
And breathing out toxicity,
Other people's energy and clearing the way for your soul to rest in presence.
Breathing in love,
Breathing out whatever doesn't serve.
