As you settle in for sleep,
Allow yourself to fully relax,
Letting go of the day and find a comfortable position,
Resting in a space where you feel safe and supported.
Gently close your eyes.
Bring your awareness inward.
There's nothing you need to do right now except be here and allowing my voice to guide you into a deep and restful sleep.
Let's begin by taking a slow deep breath in through your nose,
Breathing in relaxation and exhale gently through your mouth,
Exhaling tension.
Again,
Breathing in deeply through your nose,
Relaxation and exhaling out,
Releasing tension.
One more time,
A slow soothing inhale through your nose,
Relaxation.
A soft effortless exhale out your mouth,
Tension.
Now let's bring your awareness to your body,
Inviting relaxation with every breath.
Bring your attention to the top of your head.
Imagine a warm gentle wave of relaxation washing all over you,
Softening your scalp,
Releasing any tension in your forehead and around your eyes.
Let this soothing sensation melt down through your cheeks,
Your jaw,
Your neck and shoulders.
If there's any tightness,
Simply notice it then allow it to dissolve with every breath.
Feel this warmth flowing down through your arms,
Past your elbows,
All the way to your fingertips,
As if your entire upper body is becoming lighter,
Softer,
More at ease.
Now bring your awareness to your chest.
Feel your breath moving in and out,
Slow and steady,
Like the gentle rhythm of ocean waves.
With each breath,
Your chest relaxes,
Your heart slows a bit,
And a deep sense of peace and calm settle in.
Now shift your focus down to your abdomen.
Let go of any tension,
Allowing your belly to soften.
Feel a warm,
Comforting energy spreading through your lower back and your hips,
Releasing any lingering stress.
Now let this relaxation drift down into your legs,
Moving through your thighs,
Your knees,
Relaxing your calves,
All the way down to your ankles,
Your feet,
Your toes.
Feel your entire body becoming completely relaxed,
As if you're sinking into a soft cloud,
Weightless and free.
There's nothing to hold on to,
Nothing to control,
Just ease,
Warmth,
Stillness.
Now imagine yourself standing at the very edge of a peaceful,
Moonlit,
Calm lake.
The water is still and glassy,
Reflecting the deep blue sky above,
Dotted with shimmering stars.
A gentle breeze brushes against your skin,
Carrying the scents of lavender and jasmine.
A small wooden boat waits for you at the shore.
You step inside,
Feeling it gently sway beneath you.
As you sit back,
Relax,
The boat begins to glide effortlessly across the water.
It's quiet and calm.
It carries you deeper into relaxation.
The air is soothing.
Above,
The stars twinkle like tiny lanterns lighting your way.
With each gentle ripple in the water,
Your body sinks into deeper relaxation,
As if the lake itself is cradling you in its arms.
Soon you see a tiny island ahead,
Glowing softly under the moonlight.
The boat drifts toward the shore,
And you step onto the warm,
Silky sand.
The island is quiet,
Untouched,
A place just for you.
A path of smooth stones leads to a cozy hammock nestled between two tall trees.
Their leaves whisper a gentle song in the breeze.
You settle into the hammock,
Feeling this gentle embrace.
The sky above is vast and safe.
The stars seem to pulse in rhythm with your breath.
A quiet reminder that you are connected to something greater,
Peaceful,
Eternal.
Here,
There is nothing to do,
Nothing to worry about.
Just rest,
Just breathe,
Just be.
As you lie here,
Embraced by the warmth of this tranquil place,
Know that you are safe,
Supported,
And deeply relaxed.
