My name is Angela and I will be walking you through this journey of unconditionally loving yourself.
Let's start by slowing down and getting into the present moment.
Notice your sensations pulling your attention towards your breath.
Letting your breath guide you through this process.
As your attention drifts,
Notice where your thoughts go and slowly and gently pull your attention back towards your breath.
As you're breathing in,
Notice the thoughts and feelings you're having as you take in that oxygen.
And as you exhale,
Notice the thoughts and feelings that you release on that breath.
Another time breathing in,
Relaxation,
Holding for three.
One,
Two,
Three,
And exhaling out.
Very good.
Let yourself get comfortable in this quiet space.
Letting yourself be in a place of taking in this very moment.
As we go through this journey of unconditionally loving yourself,
Watch when your attention gets out of this moment.
Resist the nurturing positive affirmations.
If your attention challenges the positive self-talk,
And guide your attention back towards your breath with curiosity,
That as you listen to each nurturing statement of love,
You notice it with interest and consideration to take it in as truth.
Pulling your attention towards your breath,
Breathing in relaxation,
And exhaling tension.
Start by taking in these affirmations with curiosity.
And notice what happens in your body as you listen to these messages.
I am good enough.
I am a valuable person.
I am perfect exactly as I am.
I am worthy of love.
I am doing the best that I can.
I have the right to my voice.
I have the right to be heard.
What I feel matters.
I have the right to be seen.
I have the right to change my mind.
I have the right to take my time.
I deserve to take some space when I need it.
I deserve to have my boundaries respected.
I deserve to have my body respected.
I deserve to feel safe.
As you notice what happens in your body listening to these messages,
Let yourself take in a breath of relaxation,
Exhaling,
Releasing tension.
Breathe in love and exhale shame.
Breathe in unconditional acceptance of yourself and exhale any negative,
Self-defeating thinking.
Breathe in love and acceptance and exhale shame and toxicity.
As we close this meditation,
Let yourself hold on to these positive,
Self-affirming,
Loving messages,
Reminding yourself with every in-breath that you are lovable and good enough exactly as you are,
And with every out-breath releasing negative self-talk.
