Making yourself comfortable,
Feet on the floor,
Hands on your lap,
Taking a slightly deeper in-breath,
And as you exhale,
Allowing your eyes to close,
Gently closing the eyes.
I'm going to ask you to imagine certain things.
It doesn't really matter if you can't imagine all the things I'm asking you to.
This is a template,
A template that you can learn and use whenever you wish.
There are times where life can seem overwhelming.
I want you to imagine a pool of beautiful,
Crystal clear water.
You dip your toe into the pool and realise it's the perfect temperature for you,
And as you slowly lower yourself down,
Right down into the pool,
It feels safe and gentle and perfect for you,
And as you sit in that pool,
You can feel any overwhelm simply melt away.
Simply melting away into the pool,
This pool is giving clarity.
Clarity to your mind,
And curiously,
Clarity to your body.
You're feeling cleansed and fresh,
Relaxed,
Released.
Letting go now,
Letting overwhelming thoughts and feelings simply melt away into the pool,
And having a gentle breath in and out,
And a gentle stretch,
You can bring back that feeling of physical and emotional clarity as you open your eyes and return to the day.
