Hi,
This is Andrew Johnson.
This recording is designed to gauge you down into a deep state of physical and emotional relaxation.
So never play this recording driving a car or operating machinery.
Take some time now to sit or lie down and make yourself comfortable.
Good.
Before you go into an easy,
Relaxed and natural state,
I'd like you to gently stretch your whole body.
Stretch your legs.
Stretch your arms.
And gently,
Slowly,
Stretch all over.
And relax.
Do that once more now.
One more gentle stretch.
Your legs.
Your arms.
Your whole body.
And relax.
Because now you're ready to slowly drift down deeper and deeper into relaxation.
Now in your own time,
Now that you're ready to go into relaxation,
Close your eyes.
Slowly allow your eyes to close and begin inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly.
This allows your body to relax a little more each time you breathe out.
Spend a few moments allowing your breathing to deepen and slow.
Allowing each out-breath to take you a little deeper relaxed.
Being in a relaxed state is very beneficial and I know that you will benefit even more from a deeper level of relaxation.
In a moment,
I'm going to ask you to gently open your eyes and choose something to look at,
Perhaps a spot on the wall or ceiling,
As I give you suggestions that will help you relax even more.
Continue to breathe a little deeper and slower when your eyes are open.
This helps you to go down into relaxation more quickly.
And as you begin to look at the spots you're going to choose,
Your eyes will begin to feel heavier.
They will begin to feel heavier and then slowly,
Naturally,
In their own time,
They will feel as if they want to close.
Don't try to close your eyes and don't try to keep them open.
They will close all by themselves,
In their own time,
Easily and gently.
And as your eyes gently close,
You will experience a lovely sensation of calmness and peace.
And you will feel yourself drifting down into deeper and deeper relaxation.
Now,
Gently open your eyes and pick out that spot to gaze at as you continue breathing slowly and deeply and easily.
Notice the gentle music in the background as your mind and body continue to relax deeper and deeper.
Your mind is becoming calmer and there's no need for you to think of anything in particular.
You're simply listening to my voice,
Listening to the sound of my voice,
And the sound of my voice is relaxing you further.
There may be moments when your mind wanders,
But your unconscious mind is listening to every word I say and following all positive,
Natural and beneficial suggestions.
It is now becoming less important for your eyes to stay open and becoming less important for you to listen to my voice,
Because your unconscious mind hears everything.
Your eyelids are starting to feel heavier and they're starting to close easily and gently as a sense of deeper relaxation moves through your body.
Any sound that you hear can help you relax ever deeper.
Any feeling that you feel can help you relax ever deeper.
Any thought that you think can help you relax ever deeper.
And it's a lovely sensation,
Is it not,
When you allow your whole body to relax.
Every part of you is enjoying the idea of relaxation.
You're feeling calmer,
More peaceful and more comfortable.
Your eyes close now and you allow your eyes to remain comfortably closed.
As your muscles relax and you continue to relax,
There may be times when you may not even be aware of your body.
You may not even be aware of your body at all and that's just fine.
As your body becomes ever more relaxed,
It gets heavier and heavier.
Notice the heaviness and welcome it.
This recording is helping you make some essential changes that will soon bring you much greater energy levels,
Increased motivation,
Determination and stamina.
The wonderful changes will increase your self-confidence and cause a natural improvement to your health.
Your fitness and your wellbeing.
In a few moments,
You'll hear me count down from 10 to 1.
And with each slow descending number between 10 and 1,
Allow yourself to drift one tenth deeper.
Imagine that you're becoming 10% more relaxed with each slow descending number.
Each descending number helping you to drift deeper and deeper relaxed.
So ready.

You're enjoying the comfort of this wonderful relaxation and becoming so completely relaxed now that it may seem at times that you're almost asleep.
It may seem at times that you're almost asleep.
You're becoming drowsier.
Just like when you're drifting into a natural state of sleep.
Becoming drowsier.
Sleepier.
You're now so deeply relaxed.
So deeply relaxed that your mind has become so sensitive,
So aware of what I'm saying that everything that I suggest to your unconscious mind that's recognized to be healthy and positive and beneficial will sink so deeply into the unconscious part of your mind and cause so deep and long lasting a positive impression there that nothing will eradicate it.
Now just allow your mind to become quiet and still.
Allow your mind to become quiet and still.
Can you imagine a room?
A beautiful,
Calming room.
Notice the walls.
Notice the ceiling.
The floor.
Walk towards the wall in front of you.
As you get closer to that wall you notice that there are two large photographs,
Side by side.
Move to the photograph on the left.
As you do so you begin to notice that it's a full size color photograph of yourself as you are now.
You can see yourself as you are now.
Take a good look at yourself.
Study the photograph.
Notice what you're wearing,
How you're standing,
The shape of your body.
Look at it closely and honestly.
Are you content with what you see?
Do you wish for a change?
Do you long for a healthier,
Fitter,
Younger look?
Behind you in that full size photograph,
In the background,
You may be able to see old habits,
Old behaviors,
Old negative thought patterns that have stopped positive change happening.
You may recognize some of them.
There is the other photograph,
However.
The photograph on the right.
The new photograph.
The right photograph.
And as you begin to move gently away from the left photograph towards the right photograph,
You begin to see the new look.
The new you.
The right photograph.
The right you.
You see yourself as you wish to be.
And you see someone who is slimmer.
Someone who is stronger,
Fitter,
Looking toned,
Looking younger,
The way you choose to be.
The way you wish to be.
Take a good look at that photograph.
Study the new you in the right photograph.
Notice what you're wearing.
How the clothes fit.
How you're standing.
The shape of your body.
Look at it closely and honestly.
Study the photograph.
It's your body.
Slim,
Toned,
Healthy,
Vibrant,
Fit.
Notice how you hold yourself.
The look on your face.
What would you call that look?
Pride.
Happiness.
Confidence.
Self-respect.
Perhaps the look is simply the recognition that you achieved your goal.
That you took back control.
That you are in control.
You know you can do this.
So now take another really close look at the photograph.
Really see yourself.
Examine every part of the new you.
You look good,
Don't you?
And you decide that you want that new body.
You love that new shape.
You choose now,
In this moment,
With all the power of your unconscious mind,
That new,
Healthy,
Fit,
Vibrant,
Energy-filled,
Toned you.
Having made the choice,
Turn back for a few moments to the old left photograph.
Notice now that it's slightly out of focus.
Allow it to become a little more out of focus.
Notice that the colour is slowly fading.
Allow the colour to fade a little quicker.
Notice that the photograph is getting smaller.
Allow it to get smaller,
And smaller,
And smaller.
Allow the old photograph to simply fade into nothingness.
Allow it to simply fade into nothingness.
The only photograph you have now,
The only image of yourself,
Is the right one.
The right image of the right you.
You know that you have made your choice,
Don't you?
You know you have made the right choice,
Don't you?
And as you look into the background of the right photograph,
You begin to see all the resources that you used to achieve this new,
Fitter you.
The new thoughts,
The new habits,
The new behaviours,
The new actions.
You are back in touch with those resources,
Because you are back in control now.
You are now deciding what is important in your life from this moment on.
And these resources are helping you easily move closer to that person in the right image.
You choose to live a long and healthy life,
Don't you?
You choose to look good,
To be the best you can be,
To be the best person you can be.
And that person you choose is slim and toned and fit and healthy and filled with energy.
And that person you choose feels younger and happier and filled with confidence.
You can do anything you want,
And you are going to do it.
You are starting right now,
Aren't you?
You are transforming into the new,
Fitter you.
So every day now,
As you wake,
You feel an urge to start the day in a positive way.
To move,
To stretch,
To gently exercise,
To fill your lungs,
To gently raise your heart rate,
To move the muscles,
To feel the energy flowing through your body.
When you wake in the morning,
You know that things are different,
That you are in control of your health,
Your fitness,
Your well-being.
You now look forward to exercising,
Whether it's going to the gym,
Going for a walk,
Going for a swim or a cycle,
Getting the muscles moving and raising your metabolism,
Feeling the energy move through your body.
You begin to see new opportunities during the day.
It doesn't matter if they seem small at first.
Perhaps you choose to walk a little more,
To use the stairs more,
To stand up and stretch a little more.
And when you easily choose to do those things and more,
You feel powerful,
You feel stronger,
You feel wonderful,
You feel back in control.
Imagine how magnificent you will feel,
Being stronger and fitter and slimmer and faster and healthier.
You allow yourself to enjoy those wonderful changes and a new healthy lifestyle.
What will your family,
Your friends,
Your colleagues say about those changes?
How good will you feel when you get compliments?
How fantastic will you feel when people ask you the secret of your success?
And as you get more and more used to moving and exercising,
You find it so much easier to do a little more each day.
Just a little more,
A little longer,
A little faster,
A little easier.
You begin to notice that on the days you exercise you feel better for longer.
You feel more alive,
More vibrant.
You're able to get more done in less time,
Giving you back more time to do what is important to you.
You begin to drink the right amount of water every day.
And as you do so,
Your mind and body benefit hugely.
You begin to eat nutritious,
Energy-filled foods,
Slowly,
Easily recharging your body,
Re-energizing your batteries,
Re-building your system.
Your body's energy reserves start to fill and you find quite naturally that you can exercise that little bit more every day.
Enjoying the buzz,
The adrenaline,
The feeling of success,
The feeling of accomplishment.
And as your body starts to function more effectively,
As that engine inside you starts to burn fuel more and more efficiently,
So you begin to notice all the subtle changes in your shape,
In how your clothes feel a little looser,
How you're sleeping better and deeper every night.
You have patience now,
Calm and relaxed determination.
Nothing can shake it.
You go on patiently day to day,
And every day in its own way is a success.
You're becoming accustomed to this feeling of success.
It fills your ego,
Boosting your confidence,
Allowing you to become the person you choose to be.
Fit,
Slim,
Healthy,
Happy,
Toned,
Fast,
Lean,
Powerful,
Vibrant.
And energized.
And because all these things will begin to happen,
Exactly as I suggest they will happen,
As you now take more and more control over your fitness,
You will find that you are always in control and successful in all areas.
This is your time now.
Your time to start creating the new you.
Your time to change in a positive,
Healthy manner.
Notice that photograph in front of you.
The new you.
Step into the photograph now.
Step into it.
Into your new fitness.
Into your new energy.
Into your new body.
How wonderful does that feel?
How do your muscles feel?
How strong do you feel?
How confident do you feel?
How do your clothes feel on you?
Allow these positive feelings to fill you,
To reach every atom and fiber and cell of your being.
These are the feelings of success.
These are the feelings of accomplishment.
These are you feelings.
These are your new feelings.
You are now in control.
You are now on the road to fitness.
You are always in control.
In a few moments,
And it's been near the end of this recording,
You'll hear me slowly count from one to ten,
With each ascending number between one and ten,
You become a little bit more aware and alert and awake.
At five,
Wiggle your fingers and toes gently.
At eight,
Gently open your eyes,
And at ten you're fully back,
Rested and refreshed and relaxed,
Bringing back a sense of accomplishment,
Of change,
Of positivity,
Of confidence,
Of drive and determination,
Of motivation.
You are back in control.
