Change can be difficult for many people. Habits can be notoriously difficult to break when they are well established. One of the most important steps when seeking change is to get your mindset "right". This meditation will set things in motion for making change and guide you into taking easier action steps. Listen once a day for three weeks for maximum benefit.

Hello and welcome to The Daily Insight.

My name's Andrew Johnson.

In today's meditation we'll be focusing on intention for change,

Wishing you a restorative practice.

Now make yourself comfortable sitting or lying down.

And if you choose to,

Place one hand on your chest and one hand on your stomach.

Rest your awareness on your breathing.

And close your eyes.

Notice the flow of your breathing in and out.

In and down and up and out.

And as you notice the flow of your breathing and the difference in temperature between the in-breath and the out-breath and the movement of your hands,

You start to sink a little deeper within.

In this recording we're going to set intentions.

Firstly for the next week.

Over the next seven days,

What would you like to change?

Physically?

And emotionally?

Energetically?

Spiritually?

Financially?

Allow your mind to drift forward in time.

Seven days.

Seven days from now.

And notice what's changed.

Can you see yourself?

What are you wearing?

How are you holding yourself?

How do you look?

How do you feel?

Can you feel the energy of positive change?

Notice all your senses.

Allow yourself to soak up the change.

It's a small world and big leaps are possible when you give your inner mind the perfect instructions.

Noticing now how it feels seven days in the future.

How positive.

How confident.

How happy.

Hold on to those positive feelings now.

And set an intention to move towards them over the next seven days.

And making your mind a blank now.

Making your mind a blank.

And going deeper within.

Every simple exhalation.

Taking you deeper and deeper within.

Into comfort.

Into stillness.

Into peace.

Your mind slowing.

Your heart rate slowing.

Your breathing slowing.

Drifting down deeper and deeper relaxed.

That's right.

I'd like you to set an intention for change over the next month.

What would you like to change in the next 30 days?

Physically.

Emotionally.

Energetically.

Spiritually.

Financially.

Let your mind wander forward.

Let your unconscious mind and your imagination take you forward for 30 days.

Notice what's changed.

How you look.

How you feel.

How you're holding yourself.

How you're dressed.

So how would you like to change in the next 30 days?

Physically.

Emotionally.

Energetically.

Spiritually.

Financially.

Take yourself forward now.

Forward 30 days.

Having achieved what you set out to achieve.

Notice the changes.

Perhaps you can see yourself in 30 days.

Perhaps you just feel the changes.

Use all your senses.

Allow the changes to become part of you here in this moment.

And knowing how much can be achieved in 30 days.

You now set an intention to move towards those changes.

Making a decision here,

Now,

Deep within you.

A decision to regain control.

To break unwanted habits.

And establish new positive habits.

It's wonderful to set this intention.

It's wonderful to feel a bit more in control.

To know the next steps.

To move towards success.

And making your minds blank now.

And taking yourself deeper.

Noticing how your body feels in this moment.

Knowing the areas of your body that feel heavier.

And sinking deeper into those areas.

Allowing yourself to drift deeper within.

Allowing yourself to drift deeper into stillness.

And it's time now to use your intention.

Your inner resources.

Your inbuilt creativity and imagination.

To make a change over the next year.

What changes would you like to make within yourself over the next 12 months?

I'd like you to think back now over the past 12 months.

You may realise as you do so.

It seems to have gone very quickly.

Think now forward for the next 12 months.

How would you like to change physically?

Emotionally?

Energetically?

Spiritually?

Financially?

Allow your inner mind to take you forward in time one year.

12 full months.

Having achieved what you set out to achieve.

And noticing,

Seeing,

Sensing,

Feeling,

Immersing yourself.

Sinking deeper and deeper into the you in 12 months time.

The you that's changed positively.

Healthily.

Effectively.

And a few moments now.

Poking up those changes.

And if you wish to.

You can ask the you in 12 months time.

How they did it.

How they changed.

The steps they took.

The tips and tricks and techniques.

To make the changes.

And stay with the changes.

And wait for the answers.

Isn't it lovely to know that you have full choice now,

Here in this moment.

You have full choice to set an intention to make small and ever increasing changes.

Changes to the way you think.

To the way you act.

To the way you react.

Changes to your physical body.

To the foods and liquids that you take on board.

Changes to the thought patterns.

Changes to the habits.

Small subtle changes that start to add up.

That start to shift.

That start to change you on a cellular level.

You are in control.

You take on board all the resources from the you of 12 months time.

You package them up and bring them back with you to this moment.

You now have a clear pathway.

A journey.

You know the first step.

And so here,

Right now,

And deep down within you,

Privately,

You set an intention to change.

From this moment on,

You are in control.

You are in control of the next minute.

The next hour.

The next day.

The next week.

The next month.

The next year.

These changes have already happened in the future.

You are now creating that future here.

And so as we near the end of this meditation,

You're bringing back a sense of clarity of thought.

Peace of mind.

A sense of determination and motivation.

Of drive.

Of optimism.

The changes are happening already.

And so bringing yourself back into the body now.

Back into the moment.

Starting to wiggle the fingers and the toes.

Have a gentle stretch of the arms and the legs.

Have a deep awakening breath.

In and out.

Waking the body.

Stretching the body.

And with another deeper breath now as you exhale.

You can open your eyes and come back to the moment.

Be gentle with yourself.

And so as we near the end of this meditation,

You're bringing back a sense of clarity of thought.

Of drive.

Of optimism.

Of drive.

Of optimism.

Of drive.

Of drive.

Of drive.

Of drive.

Of drive.
