I'll slowly and gently and rhythmically count down from 10 to 1.
As I count each number,
I'd like you to exhale if you can,
If it feels comfortable.
Remember that as I count down and as you exhale,
You're relaxing just a little.
Perhaps relaxing 10% more.
Just one tenth more relaxed with each slow descending number.
Each slow descending number will help you to drift that little bit deeper down,
Relaxed.
So ready.
Breathe in.
Ten.
Nine.
Deeper and deeper.
Eight.
And in.
Seven.
Drifting down.
Six.
Deeper and deeper relaxing.
Five.
Four.
Deeper.
Three.
And deeper relaxed.
Four.
And deeper relaxed.
Three.
And deeper relaxed.
Two.
And one.
All the way down.
Deeper and deeper relaxed.
Deeper and deeper relaxed.
Notice how easy that procedure has been.
How relaxed you are.
You are in control.
Spend a few moments enjoying this slow,
Relaxed state.
Good.
Become aware of the weight of your feet and the floor.
Give your toes a wiggle.
Become aware of your hands and your fingers and your thumbs and give your fingers and thumbs a little wiggle.
Become aware of your breathing and breathe in deeply.
Move your legs a little.
Move your arms a little.
Move your jaw a little.
And gently open your eyes.
Back to the moment.
Back to the now.
Rested,
Relaxed,
Focused.
