This is the five senses in Mother Nature guided meditation.

Begin by finding a comfortable seated position or lying down on a yoga mat.

And now just start to become aware of your breath.

Not shifting or altering anything,

Just observing.

Trying to notice if your inhale or your exhale is a little bit longer.

And now we might start to alter the breath by inhaling through the nose for a count of four and exhaling through the nose for a count of six.

And now just start to feel the breath.

Exhaling through the nose for a count of six.

Slowing down the breath and slowing down the mind.

Can you start to smooth out the breath?

Releasing any tension between the inhales and the exhales.

Noticing the sound your breath makes.

Can you soften and quiet it?

Now you might continue with that breath pattern or it might feel time to release it.

But I just want to start to draw your awareness to a spot in Mother Nature.

This can be a spot that you've visited hundreds of times.

This could be an area maybe you've visited in your life.

This could be an area maybe you've visited in your dreams or maybe it's on your bucket list.

But start to see yourself in Mother Nature in this favorite spot of yours.

And just start by looking around.

Noticing what you see.

Noticing maybe if there's trees around you,

If there's a body of water.

Maybe there's some flowers or plants.

Maybe other humans or animals.

Just observing what you see in this spot in Mother Nature right now.

And now starting to observe what you smell.

Noticing what scents are coming up.

Noticing what you're seeing in Mother Nature right now.

Noticing what you're seeing in Mother Nature right now.

Noticing what you're seeing in Mother Nature right now.

Just observing what you heard,

What you smell.

Noticing what scents are coming up.

Again,

Maybe it's the ocean and the salt from the ocean that you smell.

Maybe it's the fresh cut grass.

Maybe it's fresh,

Crisp air.

Maybe it's the water that you smell right now.

And start to observe what you hear.

Noticing what sounds are coming out around you.

First by noticing the sounds that are farthest away.

Maybe it's birds chirping.

Maybe it's birds chirping.

And then slowly starting to observe what sounds you hear nearby.

Maybe it's plants moving in the wind.

Maybe it's the subtle waves of the ocean or of a river.

Just observing what you hear.

Noticing what sounds are coming out around you.

Noticing what sounds are coming out around you.

Noticing what you hear.

Next,

Tuning into what you taste.

Maybe it's an edible plant that is nearby.

Maybe again it's the salt from the ocean.

Maybe it's the wind on your tongue.

Just observing what tastes are coming through to you.

And then finally noticing what you feel.

Maybe you start to lie down on the earth.

Maybe you're floating in the water.

Maybe you're laying next to a field of flowers.

Just noticing what you feel around you.

Maybe it's rubbing against your skin.

Maybe your fingertips are feeling maybe an animal right beside you.

Observing what you feel out in Mother Nature.

And then finally taking the next minute or so just to walk around.

Notice what the spot in Mother Nature is trying to tell you.

Maybe there's a message.

Maybe there's a message from the earth.

Maybe there's a message from an animal or from another human that you've met here in this spot.

But just take the next minute to walk around the space,

To look around the space,

To hear,

To feel,

To taste.

What messages are coming through to you right now?

What is Mama Gaia trying to teach you or tell you?

Can you go even deeper with this message?

Are there any final messages coming through that Mama Gaia needs you to know or your guides need you to know?

And then just take one last look around this spot,

Knowing that you can come back here anytime that you want to deepen your practice with your five senses and with Mother Earth.

And then just maybe starting to bring awareness back into your body by wiggling your fingers or toes,

And maybe turning your head from left to right.

And then when you're ready,

Bowing your chin down towards your chest and fluttering your eyes open.

And if you have time you might grab your journal and jot down a few notes that came through with this meditation.
