Welcome to your luteal phase or autumn phase of your menstrual cycle.
This is a time one of my dear friends describes as the crunchy time.
It's a time where we might not feel our best.
We might be quick to judge our anger.
But I also find this is a time where I feel called to go in and I'm a little bit more introspective.
I enjoy this time actually because it does give me insight and it helps me remember that I need to slow down each month.
So today's practice can be listened to as a talk.
Maybe you have your journal alongside you.
And I'm going to ask questions.
You might feel called to answer right away.
Or this can be a meditation where you sit with your eyes closed and journal after we are complete with whatever you remember,
Knowing that that's what you were meant to hear.
So let's start by maybe eyes open or closed,
You decide.
We're going to check in on our four energetic bodies.
First we're going to check in with our physical body.
What does it need right now?
More grounding?
More energy?
There's no right answer.
Just tune in to what's coming up for you.
I'm going to give you a minute to reflect.
So we're gonna take a little stare if you opened up your eyes.
We're going to move on to the emotional body.
How are your emotions doing right now?
What do they feel like they need?
Are you feeling flighty,
Anxious,
Blissless,
Angry?
What can you do to bring in the energy you want to have during this phase of your cycle?
I will give you a minute to reflect on this.
Okay.
Now we're going to start grounding down into our spiritual body.
How do you feel spiritually?
Have you spent time connecting to your higher power?
Or maybe you feel a bit topsy-turvy?
How can you build into a deeper spiritual practice at this time?
Once more I will give you one minute to reflect on what arises today.

We're going to be checking in with the mental body.
How are your thoughts?
Are they positive and feeling uplifting of yourself and others?
Or do you feel a bit defeated?
Maybe judgy?
How can you turn the channel if you don't like what's playing?
I'll give you a minute to reflect.
The luteal or autumn phase is the longest phase of our cycle.
And it can be coming with uncomfortable,
Often changing emotions,
Energy and thoughts during this time.
Checking in daily is key during this phase.
You'll start to notice those subtle shifts that can occur from early to late autumn within your own body.
Notice if you feel called to create a mantra to bring you back into your body and out of your headspace during this time.
Is there a practice you need to incorporate into your daily routine,
Such as journaling,
Meditation,
Walking outside in nature,
Something can help shift your energy in a moment's notice.
What can you do to garner a greater sense of self during this phase?
And then slowly bringing your awareness.
If your eyes are closed back into the body,
Opening your eyes.
And if you took the meditation today,
Maybe you grab your journal and reflect on what came up.
If you already have your journal out,
Continue to reflect on those questions.
Maybe you circle one and come back to that one when you have more time.
This is a wonderful meditation to explore all luteal phase.
As every day you're going to start to notice those subtle shifts in the body.
