Before you rush to the kitchen this morning,
I ask you that you pause a bit.

I know,
I know,
It's weird.
You don't have to drug test me,
Just stay with me.
You may be hungry,
But other parts of you could be starving.
Hope is the food for spirit.
Let me say it again.
Hope is the most basic food you could feed your spirit.
Have you fed your spirit lately?
If you have,
Great.
You can just stop listening right now and go on with your life.
I'm kidding,
Keep it on.
There is a dash of wisdom here for you.
Hope is widely available if you know how and where to find it.
However,
It is not easily served in the kitchen.
Yes,
You can find it in your bedroom,
Pillow,
Showers,
Walk.
Actually,
Hope can be found everywhere you look.
The same way you feed your body,
You got to feed your spirit.
And why?
We are spiritual beings having a bodily experience.
Yes,
We are woo woo first before we have flesh and bones.
We are energy and what we think and feel impact what we do and who we are.
These days,
There are heavy expectations set up for hope.
The problem is that hope is not a strategy.
You will not do the work for you or solve all your problems.
Hope is a tool.
You step you out of the space between I had enough and I'm quitting.
Hope is a remedy,
Not a cure.
Hope is like a breath we take before we fully jump into our lives.
Hope is that pinch of courage that tells us not yet,
Almost there,
Now.
It's important that we bathe in the company of hope during challenging times.
Although we don't seem to need it when things are going our way,
Knowing that hope is a great companion helps the times we don't believe we need it.
Here are a few of the many ways you can become more than a mere acquaintances with hope.
Number one,
Watch the sunrise.
Yes,
You could get up early.
Number two,
Listen to the first birds singing in the morning.
You can actually do this from your bed.
Number three,
Touch the morning dew.
Okay,
This will be a bit of a stretch in the winter months.
Number four,
Look for the moon in your early walks.
Number five,
My favorite,
Do a hope practice.
When you first wake up,
Stay in bed for a few minutes,
Close your eyes and bring to mind a situation you need to have hope about.
If you struggle to find one,
Check in on your old dreams that you haven't done anything about it.
Perhaps it's that foreign trip,
The business you want to start,
A creative project,
Or a relationship that went south.
Or yet,
Anything that lives on the back of the closet of your heart,
It's dusty and barely forgotten.
Take a few seconds to remember.
Ah,
That one.
I knew you would remember.
As you recall what was in your sort of goal board,
You may feel a little sad.
It's normal.
Please don't drench your dreams in sorrow.
It had enough cobwebs already.
It's not helpful.
Today,
It's about calling on your old faithful friend,
Hope.
When we call on hope,
We imagine the best outcome.
We see ourselves at the finishing line with the high emotions.
Feel what would feel like to get there.
Yes,
Do it now.
Find that feeling,
Milk it.
Stay with for a minute and a half or more.
That's how long it takes to disturb the stagnant energy of discouragement.
Let's do it together,
Right?
Imagine the outcome.
Feel the emotions of achieving it.
Make it elevated emotion.
Make it as high as possible and then milk it.
Just feel it.
Feel it how it feels to achieve that.
Your dreams was born out of inspiration.
See yourself winning and feel how it feels to get there.
Let's disrupt the feeling of disappointment that got your dreams forgotten.
You could forget this practice today.
Or you could decide to do this hope practice daily when you first wake up or at least most of the days.
And that's how you eat hope for breakfast.
After all,
Many people still believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we got to feed our spirit.
As you begin this practice,
You notice that you will find inspiration for other things.
It's just amazing.
One more thing.
Sometimes we find hundreds of ideas that we infuse some enthusiasm in the past.
Then we forgot about them.
You could use hope to help get these dreams off the ground.
However,
There is one dream that keeps coming back from time to time.
That's hope specialty.
It's the perfect remedy to improve your enthusiasm.
By the way,
Do you know what enthusiasm really means?
It means infused with God.
Yes,
The same higher power that makes threes grow,
Flowers bloom,
And your heart beat without your command can be evoked to move your goals forward.
Remember,
Hope is not a strategy.
You can be swimming in hope 24 sevens,
But hanging around with hope for two or three minutes in the morning will grant you the optimistic attitude that could last a while.
And that is priceless.
Your family and friends will thank you.
Hope will support you and give you inspiration,
Insights,
And guidance,
But you need to take action,
Make a point of eating hope for breakfast daily,
And you see how lovely your life will become.
