Welcome to day three of radiance.
Again,
Feel free to sit however it feels most comfortable for you.
You could be on the floor or even on a chair.
And if you'd like,
Close down your eyelids.
Begin to arrive in the here and now for this practice by connecting with your breath.
And as you breathe in,
Take the breath a little deeper.
All the way down into your belly.
And again,
Breathe in deeply all the way down into your belly and then go even further.
See if you can reach down towards the base of your spine,
The very tip of your tailbone.
And as you do,
Let your attention move into your foundation,
Your sits bones,
The base of your spine.
The base of your pelvis.
And shift your weight a little side to side and a little forward and back.
Really starting to feel.
This point of contact between you and whatever you're sitting on,
Your pelvis,
Tailbone,
The muscles and tissues.
And keep moving.
Just a little bit.
So you're sitting but you're just rocking your torso just a little side to side or forward and back or even circling your torso a little bit.
Noticing how as you move the weight shifts through this point of contact.
And we're just waking up our ability to feel this part of our foundation.
And then come into stillness.
And take a deep breath in.
And out.
And notice your spine rising up out of the foundation of your pelvis.
And we're gonna do a little bit more movement,
Small,
Slow movement of the spine here.
Begin to let your spine arch.
A little bit so your chest moves forward and upward.
Maybe you lift your chin slightly.
And then rock back and let your spine round a little bit.
Opening up the space at the back of your heart Dropping your chin down.
Rounding your low back.
Do that a couple more times,
Just really nice and easy,
Arching the spine.
And then rounding your spine.
And Again,
Be intuitive.
Move in a way that feels good to you.
We are seeking out the pleasure in this movement.
The slower you go,
The more you will likely begin to feel.
So if you're able to,
Just slow things down even more.
And for the last few breaths.
Explore even more range of motion through your spine.
And what that might look like for you could be just doing a little side bend to the left.
And to the right.
Maybe circling the spine.
Your head will likely be moving because it's connected to the very upper part of your spine.
Relax your jaw.
Know that your spine is this supercharged place of power inside of you.
Highly intelligent.
And an amazing transmitter within your body,
Transmitting essential information of the spinal cord,
The nerves to the entire body.
So trust your spine as you move and see if you can actually let your spine direct the movement a little bit.
What does your spine need?
What does it want right now?
These movements don't have to be big to hold value.
They can be really small.
Just take a couple more breaths honoring your spine.
And the intelligence of your spine … and eventually… when it feels right,
Come back into stillness.
And just receive the sensations arising in this moment from that movement.
Can you sense?
Your aliveness,
Bubbling up from your spine.
This core part of you.
Breathe into that aliveness and feel your unique beautiful radiance coming fully online Shining out.
From the depth of you.
Allow your spine to align itself within your body.
Allow your spine's energy to flow out in all directions,
Supporting the rest of your body.
And today let's take one hand resting it over the heart and one hand over the belly.
Thinking about whatever lies in front of you for the rest of your day and just set a little intention for yourself.
How will you move from this place of presence?
Take one more deep breath in.
Feel free to sigh it out.
Thanks for showing up for yourself and your body and your spine today.
I look forward to our session tomorrow.
