Transcript

The following centering exercise is a great way to release tension and step into a calm,

Focused mind state.

Make sure you're sitting comfortably in your chair,

Back being supported by the rest,

Knees bent in a 90 degree fashion,

No tension,

And close your eyes.

Take slow breaths in and out and bring your hands to your ears and start rubbing your ear shell and your ear lobe,

Squeezing and pulling it gently.

Then use your fingertips and start tapping your forehead,

The sides of your face,

Your cheeks,

Lips,

Chin,

And jaw,

Moving up,

Gently tapping your nose,

Your eyebrows,

And your forehead.

Continue with this tapping and zone in on the release of tension that's occurring in this exercise.

When you feel the release,

Allow the focus to take place by rubbing your ears once more.

Take a deep breath in and as you're breathing out,

Open your eyes again.
