It is a yoga nidra meditation and it's like a little shortcut to become a very advanced meditator.
Yoga nidra is also described as the zero stress zone.
If you're getting ready to do the meditation,
Make sure you can lie down on your back and you have a blanket to cover yourself with because your body temperature will drop.
During the meditation,
You only have one objective and that is to stay awake.
We'll be using the mechanisms in our body to bring the body into a sleep-like state,
But do our best to stay conscious and stay awake.
You'll be experiencing what in yoga is called samadhi,
Resting in union.
You might experience tingling sensations,
Heaviness or lightness of your limbs and body parts.
All these feelings will fade away after the session and it is said that yoga nidra session is as restorative as three hours of sleep.
That's why I use it a lot myself to recover from my physical condition.
That's why I also recommend it to people who are dealing with a little bit of restlessness.
It's the perfect place to recover.
As we proceed in the course,
You'll also find out that this is the place where we can plant intentions and communicate with our subconscious mind.
