Namaste,
And welcome to this guided meditation.
Find a comfortable position,
A position so comfortable that you'll be completely relaxed and able to focus solely on the meditation,
Preferably laying down,
Taking the breath into and out of the nose,
Relaxing the forehead,
Relaxing the jaw,
Taking the tongue from the roof of the mouth.
Let your shoulders completely melt into the ground,
Releasing down through the arms,
The wrists,
And each and every finger.
Let the belly be soft,
And the hips release into the ground,
And release down through the legs,
The ankles,
And each and every toe,
Continuing to breathe into and out of the nose,
Deep breaths,
Closing the eyes if that feels safe,
And as you breathe,
Imagine a still,
Clear pond.
The pond is so still that the surface almost appears to be,
The water is clear and deep.
Notice that there are stones and other sediment,
Leaves,
Sticks at the bottom of this pond.
You can see it all clearly because the pond is so still.
Now as you inhale,
Exhale through the mouth.
Every inhale is a receiving,
And every exhale is a release.
And now start to breathe into and out of the mouth,
Making the breath audible.
Feel the chest rise and fall.
Start to envision that your breath is a storm,
Wind,
Rain,
And thunder.
You notice that the surface of the pond is now rippling.
Place one hand on the belly,
Connecting into the intuition,
And one hand on the chest,
Connecting into the heart space.
Envision that your breath is a storm that is coming to clear the way.
It is muddying the water and causing it to churn.
Old memories,
Past trauma,
Anxiety,
Subconscious beliefs are the sediment at the bottom of this pond.
And as the storm rages,
All of the sediment starts to stir up.
Sometimes the wind and rain are necessary.
Sometimes life must be stirred up,
And things must be brought to the service so that they can be honored and then released.
The storm that shook you to your core is aligning you on your path.
Breathe heavily and more deeply into and out of the mouth.
Every inhale receives,
And every exhale releases.
Acknowledge and honor your experience.
Honor your existence.
The painful memories,
The beautiful memories,
And everything in between,
All of your complex and nuanced emotions,
Your inner child,
All past versions of yourself.
Honor your experience.
Honor your experience.
Honor your existence.
Honor your existence.
And start to breathe into and out of the nose as the storm slowly begins to dissipate.
And simply notice the separateness between yourself and the objects in the room by honoring yourself,
By honoring your existence,
Your experiences.
We acknowledge that it is safe to be in our bodies.
It is safe to be who we are.
We can maintain the safety and separateness,
Yet still be connected to the world around us.
Notice the silence.
Honor the silence.
And notice the connection you also feel while still remaining within,
Grounded and uniquely you.
The storm has now dissipated.
You open your eyes,
And you see with more clarity and awareness than you ever have.
You look back on the past.
You forgive past versions of yourself that no longer resonate.
You hug your inner child.
You are focused.
You are strong.
You are aligned with your purpose.
It is safe to be you.
Your existence is honored.
All of your experiences that led you here today is honored.
The past versions of you,
Who at the time were doing the best they could with what they had,
They are honored because they got you here.
And now that you know better,
You will do better.
And your inner child is looking at you right now and honoring you for validating them and for being a safe place.
For finally loving and listening and soothing them.
You are safe.
You are now safe.
And you are loved.
The light in me honors the light in you.
Namaste.
