Welcome to your guided meditation and breathwork practice around the fullness of the moon.
As you're ready,
Find your way into a comfortable seated position.
Prefer to sit up on a block,
Bolster or blanket.
Something to elevate your hips higher than your knees.
And place one ankle in front of the other.
Take a few breaths to move your body forward back,
Side to side.
Until you find your own sense of center.
With your hands on your thighs,
Palms face down,
Find length through your spine up through the heart.
Slightly tuck your chin into your chest and settle into stillness.
With your awareness around the breath.
Think about the last month.
Where you were one month ago.
And the things that have occurred in your life in the past month.
What has came up been present for you?
Where are you coming from?
And from that space of awareness,
Knowing that now the full moon is here,
She supports us in letting go of what no longer serves us,
Of what we no longer need.
So with her support,
We'll practice letting go.
Take your fingertips to the sides of your body.
Just let them touch the earth slightly.
And as you inhale,
Draw the breath in through your nose,
Over the forehead,
Down the throat,
Through the heart.
And when you arrive into the heart,
Ask to let go.
Ask to release what no longer serves you.
And with the exhale breath,
Allow the energy to run down your shoulders,
Through your arms,
And into the tips of your fingers,
And let it go.
Another one.
Inhale the breath through the nose,
Over the forehead,
Down the throat,
And into your heart.
Ask here in your heart space to let go of anything consciously or subconsciously that's no longer serving you.
And with the exhale breath,
Like a waterfall of energy,
Let it run down your arms and out through the tips of your fingers.
Give it back to the earth.
One more inhale through the nose,
Over the forehead,
Draw the breath into your heart,
And in your heart space,
Ask to let go of anything specifically in your mind,
In your heart,
And in your life that you know has been personally holding you back.
But you want to give up to the fullness of the moon to support you in letting go.
And when you exhale,
Release the exhale out through the arms.
Allow the flow of energy to go down into the earth.
And when you think you've exhaled out all of your air,
Exhale out just a little more.
A little more until you've emptied out completely.
Flick your fingertips to the ground,
Anything that got stuck,
Shake your arms.
Shake your arms and release.
And then when you feel ready,
Turn your palms to face up onto your thighs.
Bring your pointer finger and your thumb together to touch to seal the energy in.
And settle here into a space of stillness once again to just be.
Notice how you feel.
As you bring and keep your awareness within the breath.
To just be fully here.
And like the fullness of the moon right now,
Allow the breath to come in and fill you up completely.
Where then with every exhale now,
You can let go of something.
Use this powerful phase to release anything that has been weighing you down.
Now is the time to trust in the fullness.
This is the time to support you in letting go.
A phase that's come into completion.
Now to pull any weeds and create space in your world and in your life.
For that which does support you and who you want to be.
Continue to sit in this moment with awareness on your breathing.
And when the mind wanders,
Come back.
Come back to your breathing and be here fully to the best of your ability.
This is the time to life be clear,
Not worry about any reality.
And as you're ready,
Bring your hands before your heart space,
Press your palms together,
Tuck your chin,
And let a commitment to leave anything here before you get up from your seat and you go back to your day.
Go back to the busyness of doing and being in the modern world.
Set the commitment to leave anything here that weighs you down.
And when you're ready to release your hands,
Open your eyes and move slowly and gently back into your day.
