Hi,
Good morning and thank you for joining me in today's morning meditation practice.
Start by finding a comfortable position with a tall,
Proud spine.
Take a deep breath in through the nose,
Hold at the top and then exhale slowly.
Good,
Now just let your awareness rest on the breath as you breathe naturally.
During meditation it helps if you have an anchor or a foothold or a home base,
Something you can hold on to and something that you can always return yourself to.
So I want you to pick your home base,
Perhaps it is the breath as you feel it entering the nose,
Perhaps it is the rising and falling of your belly,
Or maybe it is the connection of where your feet meet the surface beneath you.
Whatever your home base is,
I want you to focus your full awareness on that specific area and just continue to breathe in and out.
Good,
Now bring your awareness to the top of the head and just notice that area.
Now I want you to imagine it's a beautiful sunny day and on the top of your head you can feel the warmth of the Sun.
Now I want you to imagine that this warm sunshine is gliding all over your body,
Like a rising Sun illuminating one body part at a time.
Notice how the Sun is shining on your face,
Touching your forehead,
Feel the warmth of the Sun as it shines on your cheeks,
On your lips,
Down your neck,
Down your torso,
Feeling the warmth of this Sun.
Feel it gliding down your arms,
Down your hands,
Down into your belly and as you visualize this Sun shining higher and higher up in the sky,
Feel that warm sensation gliding down your hips,
Down your upper legs,
Lower legs and feel your toes warming up in that beautiful sunlight.
Now as your whole body is starting to get warm and fuzzy,
Visualize that your body is absorbing these beautiful healing rays of sunshine I want you to imagine there is a beautiful healing yellow golden light surrounding your entire body.
An aura of healing golden light is illuminating around your body,
Pulsating waves of healing light.
Now feel this healing positive energy penetrating deep down into every cell of your body,
Penetrating through every cell of your body,
All the way deep down into the body,
Into every tissue,
Every muscle,
Deep down into every organ,
Filling your entire body with positive healing energy,
Brightening up your day.
Now go ahead and visualize your day ahead,
See yourself walking through every action of your day,
From making your morning breakfast,
To morning tea,
Spending time with colleagues,
Friends,
Family or with your loved one.
Notice how everything is going to plan and notice how your day is turning out better than you could have ever imagined.
You are feeling wonderful,
You are feeling so positive,
You know that you can make anything happen that you set your mind to and starting your day with a short guided meditation sets you up for focus and success.
Now I want you to picture in your mind your one intention for today,
Don't over complicate it,
Simply focus on one intention.
Now you can choose to repeat this intention like a mantra,
We can choose to just picture it in your mind.
I'm going to leave you here for a few moments.
Go and now soften your awareness and start to deepen your breath.
I want you to visualize that every time you exhale you breathe out this golden healing light into the world and this light is touching everything around you,
Your family,
Your friends,
Your pets,
Your tasks for today,
Everything is turning golden,
Positive,
Healed and slowly bring your awareness back to where you are becoming aware of the sounds around you,
Gently wiggling your fingers,
Wiggling your toes,
Twitch your nose and open your eyes when you are ready.
