Welcome to this meditation to help you fall asleep with positive vibrations.
I appreciate you being here and giving this a try.
How we fall asleep is paramount to how we navigate the following day and to how we feel about the future.
So I've carefully designed this meditation to help shift your mindset to that of a more positive one.
So when you fall asleep,
You're sleeping more peacefully and you're sending more successful and positive vibrations out to the universe so you can feel better about yourself the following day.
So let's begin.
Find yourself in a comfortable position,
Lying down in a comfortable bed or surface.
You may also sit upright if that is what you prefer.
And gently,
Let's close our eyes.
Take a deep breath in through the nose.
Slowly exhale.
Let go of any tension that you may have held back throughout the day.
Let it all out.
When you're fully exhaled,
Let's shift the attention now to the breath.
Notice the sensations of your breathing,
How the air feels when you inhale it through your nose.
And then notice any sensations that you may feel when the air leaves your nose.
Explore the breath.
Explore how it feels when you engage in your natural rhythm of breathing.
Notice the depth of each breath,
The movements that are accompanied by each cycle of breaths by now.
You will have thoughts from today or of tomorrow that may be seeping into your mind and that's perfectly normal.
It's understandable.
So when that happens,
All you have to do is take note of the thought,
Acknowledge it,
Label it,
And gently,
Once you've done so,
Resume the exploration of your breath at your own pace.
Nowhere else to be.
Nothing else to do.
This is your time,
Your peace,
Your escape.
And now take note of how the surface on which you are lying down or sitting on feels.
Notice yourself sink deeper into this surface,
Embracing its comfort and its welcoming nature.
See if you can surrender to the stillness.
Accept it for what it is.
Embrace the stillness.
Let's run a short scan through your body starting from the very top of your head,
Working our way down.
Relax your forehead.
Relax your nostrils.
Relax your jaw.
Relax both your shoulders,
Your right arm,
Your right elbow,
Your right forearm,
And wrist,
And your right set of fingers.
Are all relaxed now.
Relax your left shoulder,
Your left arm,
Your left elbow,
Your left forearm,
Your left wrist,
And your left set of fingers.
Relax your chest.
Relax both your shoulder blades.
Relax your belly.
Relax your lower back.
Relax your hips,
Your pelvic region,
Your buttocks,
Your right thigh,
Your right hamstring,
Your right knee,
Your right calf,
Your right ankle,
The sole of your right foot,
And your right set of toes.
Relax your left thigh,
Your left hamstring,
Your left knee,
Your left calf,
Your left ankle,
The sole of your left foot,
And your left toes.
Both your legs are fully relaxed.
Your entire body is now fully relaxed.
You may scan through your body briefly to ensure everything is in an utter state of relaxation.
You feel still,
Present,
And safe.
This is your moment to unwind after what may have been a stressful day.
You are supported and you are currently sinking further into a place of relaxation.
Let's go back to feeling the surface,
Noticing and embracing every element of comfort that you may be experiencing right now.
Next,
I'd like you to imagine the color pink.
Imagine everything around you is pink.
In the air,
The lights,
The energy.
Let this beautiful,
Positive color illuminate your imagination.
If you are struggling to imagine the color pink,
You may imagine something that is pink and extract the color from that,
Like a flamingo or candy floss or a flower.
Once you've imagined and established this color in your mind's eye,
I'd like you to inhale this color into your body as deep as you can.
So let's do this together.
Breathe in the color pink.
Hold for a few seconds.
And when you're ready,
Exhale the color gray.
And let out the gray and all the stress that may be holding you back.
Let it all out.
And then you may go back to embracing this beautiful color and welcoming this serene energy this color represents.
So again,
Let's inhale the color pink into our bodies.
Hold and slowly exhale the color gray.
See the gray leave your body.
And with it,
All the negativity that may be lurking within you,
Let it out.
One more time,
Inhale the color pink.
Hold.
Exhale.
The color gray.
See the gray leave your body.
One last time.
As you ascend further into a state of positivity and feel a lot better.
Next,
I'd like you to visualize tomorrow.
I want you to imagine tomorrow working out perfectly.
Everything that you would like to happen happens.
The most perfect positive scenario is taking place in your mind's eye.
Imagine everything running smoothly tomorrow.
The people you meet are extremely kind to you.
The experiences you embark on are that little bit more pleasant.
And everything is running smoothly.
I'd like you to now take a few moments to imagine your whole day tomorrow being smooth,
Positive,
And happy.
Notice how you feel.
Everyone's nice to you.
And when things are going your way,
Notice how your body feels when you are experiencing these interactions and positivity.
And together,
Let's take a deep breath through the nose.
Slowly exhale.
Next,
I'd like you to think of someone in your life for whom you are grateful.
Someone that makes you feel good about yourself.
Someone who uplifts you and believes in you and is there for you when you need them.
Imagine this person being happy and merely be grateful for the contribution they have made to your life.
Next,
I'd like you to repeat the following affirmations with me.
I deserve happiness.
I am worthy of success.
I am enough.
I am at peace.
With myself.
I believe in my abilities.
I am confident.
I forgive myself unconditionally.
I love life.
I love myself.
I love the people in my life.
I am enough.
Just let these beautiful emotions and sensations marinate within you.
And I wanna wish you a peaceful night's sleep.
