Good morning.

Thanks for doing this exercise to help kickstart your day with much needed positivity.

A grateful mindset is very important because it helps you realize and recognize the good that is happening in your life and the world.

When you're living in a positive paradigm,

You see the world differently and respond to whatever comes your way with more optimism and calmness.

This in turn helps you become more resilient and ready for anything life may throw at you.

When you're grateful,

You focus better,

Interact with people better,

And you're more likely to take on difficult challenges.

Practicing gratitude every single day,

Even one minute every morning,

Can have a profound effect on your well-being and future.

It's never too late to start.

So let's begin.

First,

I'd like you to find yourself seated comfortably.

And now take a deep breath in through your nose,

As deep as you can.

And when you're ready in your own time,

Slowly exhale.

And when you've exhaled,

I'd like you to think of a body part of yours that you are grateful for.

And why are you grateful for this body part?

I'll give you a few moments to think of something.

When you've done that,

Again,

I'd like you to take another deep breath in through your nose,

As deep as you possibly can.

And slowly just exhale that tension.

And when you fully exhale,

I'd like you to think of someone who's currently in your life,

Whom you are grateful for.

And why are you grateful for this particular person?

Go ahead.

I'll give you a few moments.

Well done.

And again,

Take a deep breath in through your nose.

Slowly exhale when you're ready.

When you fully exhale in your own time,

I'd like you to think of something in your room that you are grateful for.

Something in this space that you're in that you are grateful for.

And why are you grateful for this particular thing?

I'll give you a few moments.

Try not to overthink it.

The why is very important.

And again,

Take a deep breath in as deep as you possibly can.

Slowly exhale.

And now I'd like you to think of a personality trait of yours that you are grateful for.

And why are you grateful for this particular personality trait of yours?

Take your time.

And again,

When you've thought of that,

Take one more deep breath in breath in as deep as you possibly can.

Slowly exhale away all of that tension.

And as you step into this new day.

Lastly,

I want you to think of something about today.

Could be something you're expecting or a person that you may be excited to meet today.

Something about today that you are grateful for.

And why are you grateful for this thing?

Take your time.

And then when you've thought of that,

I want to wish you an amazing rest of the day full of success and positivity.

You're already off to a great start for you now truly appreciate appreciate those little things that we usually take for granted.

Thank you for doing this exercise and have an amazing rest of the day.
